The Scorchflame gloves sit inside the Twilight Grotto, a hidden cave on the west side of Demeniss. Getting in requires the Stab skill to pass through a waterfall, specifically the northeast waterfall at the bottom of a drop near the Hills of No Return. A stack of rocks marks the right spot.
The Scorchflame plate cloak is nearby but demands more work. From the Twilight Grotto entrance, a cave opening to the south leads into the Silent Falls Hideout. Inside, the Grave Walker mini-boss spawns from a pile of stones. The key to the fight is staggering it so its parts separate, increasing the damage it takes. The boss is slow, which helps, but it is not optional if you want to explore the room safely. After clearing it, climbing the southeast wall and using Force Palm while holding on with Q or L2/LT rotates a hidden section of wall into a room with the cloak chest.
The Scorchflame leather boots are in the Cascade Grotto, northwest of Reventine Monastery. Another waterfall entrance, another Stab skill requirement. The chest is straightforward once inside.
For the Scorchflame plate helm, players need to reach the top floor of a small tower on the western side of Stonewell Farm. A ladder inside works, or you can jump onto a small balcony from the adjacent building. Bastier's Inquisitors may be occupying the area depending on campaign progress, but defeating them is not required.
The Scorchflame plate armor, the final piece, is underneath the Golden Trading Post east of Stonewell Farm. Taking the middle road to its west end reveals two flights of stairs with a wooden door between them. Crouching and pushing the door opens it, and the chest is inside.
