Crimson Desert has no shortage of unusual mounts, but Marni's Mechahorse is in a category of its own. This robotic steed, built from lightweight timber and strong alloy according to the in-game lore, does things no regular horse can: it never burns through stamina and it can travel underwater. The catch? You cannot keep it permanently right now. Here is everything you need to know about finding it, grabbing it, and understanding what Pearl Abyss may do with it down the road.
Where is Marni's Mechahorse in Crimson Desert?
Marni's Mechahorse spawns just outside the south gate of the City of Delesyia, in the Eastern Hills region. According to GameRant's guide published April 6, 2026, a group of NPCs will be standing around the horse when you arrive. You can ignore all of them entirely.
To take the horse, press X on PlayStation or A on Xbox. The action counts as stealing, so you must have a Mask equipped before you interact with it. Without the Mask, the game will not let you perform the theft. Once you are spotted, ride away from the area fast enough and you will avoid picking up a bounty.

What makes Marni's Mechahorse different from other mounts?
The stat profile for Marni's Mechahorse, documented by the Crimson Desert Database (crimsondesert.gaming.tools, last updated April 4, 2026), breaks down as follows:
The numbers are only part of the story. What separates this mount from standard horses is that it does not consume stamina during normal riding, and it can go underwater. No other mount in the game currently does both. The tradeoff is that it cannot equip armor and it cannot fight alongside you the way some other mounts can.
warning
The underwater movement is currently believed to be a glitch, as noted by GameRant. Pearl Abyss may patch this behavior out in a future update, so use it while it lasts.
Can you keep Marni's Mechahorse permanently?
Not yet. As of April 2026, you cannot stable Marni's Mechahorse, which means it disappears once you dismount or leave the area. Pearl Abyss has already converted other unusual creatures into permanent mounts, specifically the White Bear and the White Wolf (Silver Fang). The Mechahorse fits that same pattern, so there is a reasonable expectation it will become permanent in a later patch.
What else is near Marni's Outpost worth knowing?
The Mechahorse is not the only reason to visit the Delesyia region. Marni's Outpost, located north of the "K" in "Gorthak" on the map, is home to the Machina Knight, a two-phase boss that drops the Electro-Mecha Longsword. That weapon carries 27 Attack Damage with Lightning Affinity, meaning every hit can stun and electrocute enemies. Interacting with the Machina Knight automatically triggers the "Blade of Discipline" Deleysia Faction Quest.
The fight has two phases. In the first, the Machina Knight with Marni Longsword telegraphs a three-hit combo that you can parry with L1. Alternating between Turning Slash (R1+R2) and parry is the most effective rhythm. The second phase swaps the sword for a spear, makes the boss faster, and introduces invulnerable windows where it fires seeking cubes. Dodge through those phases rather than trying to parry, then return to the Turning Slash rotation when the window opens. According to GameRant's guide from March 30, 2026, the Electro-Mecha Longsword cannot be upgraded or fitted with Abyss Gears, so manage expectations on its long-term scaling.
