Exclusive Karma cards DragonSword: Awakening में सबसे powerful upgrades में से हैं, और Fragments of Afterimage वो material है जो आपके और एक fully maxed-out roster के बीच खड़ा है। समस्या यह है कि ये fragments बाकी resources की तरह quests से drop नहीं होते। इनके लिए एक specific transmutation chain की ज़रूरत होती है जिसे नए players अक्सर miss कर देते हैं।
Fragments of Afterimage कैसे पाएं?
Fragments of Afterimage न तो world में मिलते हैं और न ही standard quests से earn किए जा सकते हैं। इन्हें पाने का एकमात्र तरीका Shanoa the Alchemist के पास transmutation है, जो Orbis Royal Castle में cathedral के पास स्थित है। उसका shop icon पहुँचते ही दिख जाता है, इसलिए उसे ढूँढना मुश्किल नहीं है।
असली challenge है उसकी ज़रूरतों को पूरा करना। हर transmutation की cost है:
- 1 Whirling Thoughts
- 100 Fragments of Memory
- 100,000 gold
जब आप पूरी ज़रूरत को देखते हैं तो यह cost काफी बढ़ जाती है। सभी exclusive Karma cards को max करने के लिए कुल 128 Fragments of Afterimage और 10,000 Fragments of Memory से ज़्यादा की ज़रूरत होती है। हर character के exclusive Karma card को fully unlock करने के लिए 7 fragments (600 Fragments of Memory) चाहिए, जबकि Hero Quest cards के लिए थोड़े कम, यानी 6 fragments (500 Fragments of Memory) की ज़रूरत होती है।

Whirling Thoughts कैसे पाएं?
Whirling Thoughts इस पूरी farming chain का bottleneck हैं। ये exclusively Tower of Trials से मिलते हैं, जो game का timed-combat mode है। इसे आप Cerese से बात करके और game के तीसरे main chapter के दौरान Bond Quest पूरा करके unlock कर सकते हैं।
Tower of Trials के तीन variants हैं:
तीनों variants के सभी floors को climb करने पर आपको कुल मिलाकर 160 Whirling Thoughts से ज़्यादा मिल सकते हैं। हर variant 2,600 Fragments of Memory से ज़्यादा का reward भी देता है, जिससे Tower आपके लिए late-game में दोनों materials का primary source बन जाता है।

Fragments of Memory को efficiently कैसे farm करें?
Fragments of Memory हर transmutation के लिए ज़रूरी हैं, इसलिए इनकी कमी आपके Karma progress को पूरी तरह रोक देगी। Tower of Trials late game में सबसे अच्छा repeatable source है, लेकिन जब तक आप वहां तक पहुँचते हैं, तब तक कुछ और तरीके भी काम आते हैं।
Fragments of Memory के सभी sources:
- Tower of Gale, Tower of Amplitude, और Tower of Crushing को climb करना (2,600+ हर variant से)
- किसी भी rarity के treasure chests खोलना
- नए Mercenary Corps level milestones तक पहुँचना
- Quests पूरा करना
- पहली बार stages और challenges को clear करना
First-clear rewards आख़िरकार खत्म हो जाते हैं, इसलिए Tower ही आपका long-term plan होना चाहिए। Chest hunting side में करते रहना फायदेमंद है, खासकर शुरुआत में जब Tower उपलब्ध नहीं होता।
Farming route एक नज़र में
एक बार Tower of Trials unlock हो जाने के बाद यह रहा पूरा loop:
- Tower of Trials के तीनों variants को run करें और full rewards के लिए 90 seconds के अंदर floors complete करें
- हर variant से Whirling Thoughts और Fragments of Memory collect करें
- Orbis Royal Castle में Shanoa the Alchemist के पास जाएं
- 1 Fragment of Afterimage के लिए 1 Whirling Thoughts + 100 Fragments of Memory + 100,000 gold को transmute करें
- Character-exclusive Karma cards को unlock और upgrade करने के लिए Fragments of Afterimage का इस्तेमाल करें
चूंकि हर exclusive Karma card को 7 Fragments of Afterimage (या Hero Quest cards के लिए 6) की ज़रूरत होती है, इसलिए आपको यह loop बार-बार चलाना होगा। सब कुछ max करने के लिए 128-fragment का total मतलब है कि Tower grind एक long-term commitment है, न कि एक बार का काम।
सबसे पहले क्या prioritize करें?
पूरे roster को max करने के लिए 128 Fragments of Afterimage की ज़रूरत है, तो यह रातों-रात नहीं होगा। बेहतर तरीका यह है कि आप उन दो या तीन characters को चुनें जिन्हें आप actively use कर रहे हैं और resources को हर जगह फैलाने के बजाय पहले उनके Karma cards को complete करें।
