The Wonder Egg Hunt is one of two Spring events running in Heartopia right now, and it's the kind of thing that looks simple until you're circling Central Square for the third time looking for that last egg. Eight eggs total, each bearing the face of a town resident, scattered across rooftops, shop windows, and garden bushes. Take a photo of each one to unlock the corresponding Easter Egg Ornament.
What is the Wonder Egg Hunt event in Heartopia?
The Wonder Egg Hunt runs from April 4 at 6 AM through April 27 at 5:59 AM, giving you just under four weeks to track down all 8 eggs. The event is set entirely within the Central Square area, so you won't need to venture far. Each egg displays the face of one of Heartopia's town residents, which makes them recognizable once you know what you're looking for.
The mechanic is straightforward: pull out your in-game camera, photograph the egg, then head to the Wonder Egg Hunt event section and click the gift icon in the progression bar to claim your ornament. Photographing the egg alone isn't enough. You have to manually claim the reward from the event tab.
warning
Taking a photo of an egg does not automatically grant the ornament. You must open the event tab and click the gift icon in the progression bar to claim it after each photo.

How does the two-phase rollout work?
The eggs don't all appear at once. The first four (belonging to Annie, Atara, Bob, and Dorothee) are available from Day 1. The remaining four (Vanya, Mrs. Joan, Blanc, and Bailey J) unlock on Day 2, April 5. You'll need to return to Central Square after Day 2 begins to find the second batch.
According to the event details documented across multiple sources, you can revisit any missed egg at any point while the event is active. Nothing is missable as long as you complete your search before April 27 at 5:59 AM.
info
If you're short on time, knock out the first four eggs on Day 1 and return for the remaining four the next day. The event window is generous enough that there's no need to rush.
All Wonder Egg Locations
Here's every egg, where to find it, and how to actually reach it. Several require a bit of platforming, so the "how to reach" column matters as much as the location itself.

A few eggs worth calling out specifically: Dorothee's is the trickiest of the Day 1 batch since it requires vehicle-assisted platforming to reach the top of her shop. Vanya's is easy to walk past because it's tucked inside bushes rather than sitting in plain view. Bailey J's egg sits near the left-side bushes by the pet shop stairs, not directly at the entrance, so scan the ground level around the bird bath area.

Blanc's egg is the easiest of the eight. It sits directly on the table at his regular spot with no platforming required. A good one to grab first if you want a quick win.
What rewards do you get from the Wonder Egg Hunt?
Each egg you photograph and claim nets you that resident's Easter Egg Ornament. Find enough eggs and you unlock bonus rewards on top of the individual ornaments.
Individual ornaments (one per egg):
- Annie's Easter Egg Ornament
- Atara's Easter Egg Ornament
- Bob's Easter Egg Ornament
- Dorothee's Easter Egg Ornament
- Vanya's Easter Egg Ornament
- Blanc's Easter Egg Ornament
- Mrs. Joan's Easter Egg Ornament
- Bailey J's Easter Egg Ornament
Milestone rewards:
- Egg Balloon Bouquet for finding 2 eggs
- Revival Bunny Eggshell Hat for finding 4 eggs
- Revival Hymn Top Hat for finding 6 eggs
The milestone rewards stack up quickly. You'll hit the Egg Balloon Bouquet after your second egg, and the Revival Bunny Eggshell Hat unlocks right at the midpoint of the hunt. Getting all 8 means you walk away with every individual ornament plus all three milestone items.
Does the Wonder Egg Hunt connect to the Revival Hymn event?
The two Spring events run simultaneously but operate independently. The Revival Hymn event has its own progression and token system separate from the egg photographs. The Revival Hymn Top Hat is a Wonder Egg Hunt milestone reward despite its name referencing the other event, so you earn it here by finding 6 eggs, not through the Revival Hymn track.
Running both events at the same time makes sense since they share the same Central Square area. You can tick off egg locations while working on Revival Hymn objectives without much extra travel.
