According to B3, the aim is to create experiences that are easy to engage with while still leveraging the benefits of on-chain technology.
Viktoriya Hying, co-founder of B3 creator NPC Labs, explained that the company’s research while at Coinbase revealed how gaming could serve as an entry point for broader blockchain participation. “Through our research conducted when we were at Coinbase, the team realized the most successful way to have users participate and engage more meaningfully on-chain is through creating fun, frictionless, and novel experiences. On-chain games allow for that,” Hying said.

Xcade’s early catalog consists of several hyper-casual games that are currently available in testnet form. These include titles such as Phnix Runner, a fast-paced endless runner where players navigate a cartoon bird through obstacles, and Ripple Collector, a tap-and-shoot game built around tossing XRP coins into a moving target. Ripple Racer introduces a competitive boat-racing format where players collect tokens while navigating waves and obstacles, while Taxi Driver places users in a city environment where they must complete passenger pickups and drop-offs against the clock.
Each of these games integrates on-chain scoring through B3’s XRPL app chain, ensuring that gameplay directly contributes to activity on the ledger. The design of these titles emphasizes repeatable, accessible gameplay that can appeal to both crypto users and newcomers. The long-term plan is to expand the catalog with weekly updates following the full launch, creating a steady pipeline of content that sustains user engagement.

“XRP is a highly held token looking for new use cases,” said Hying. “We aim to create novel ways to use that token, reward users for their participation, and grow the number of daily active users in the XRP community.”
B3 brings experience in ecosystem building. After its initial launch on Base, it grew into a network of appchains supporting more than 100 games and over 8.5 million wallets. Its broader platform also includes BSMNT, a digital space where players and builders collaborate through interactive experiences. This background positions B3 to contribute significantly to the XRP ecosystem through gaming.
