Three free codes are sitting on the table right now, and they expire March 30 at 12 a.m. EDT. That's the short version.
Genshin Impact just wrapped its version 6.5 preview livestream, officially titled "Luna 6," and HoYoverse dropped three redemption codes during the broadcast as they always do. Each code bundles Primogems alongside Mora and Adventurer's EXP, so even if you're sitting on a healthy Primogem stockpile, the leveling materials are worth grabbing.

All three are live right now. The fastest way to redeem them is through the official HoYoverse gift code page in a browser while logged into your account. You can also go through the in-game settings menu if you prefer, but copy-pasting in a browser is significantly quicker and skips the extra navigation steps.
Once redeemed, rewards arrive via in-game mail.

What version 6.5 is actually bringing
The codes are the immediate takeaway, but the livestream covered a lot more ground on what's coming when version 6.5 launches the evening of April 7.
The update, subtitled "Augured Homecoming," introduces Dornman Port, a new area located to the north of Mondstadt. It's a meaningful addition to a region that hasn't seen major expansion in a while. The headline character is Linnea, a five-star Geo bow user who appears to be the version's flagship banner pull.
There's also a Nod-Krai event tied to the update, and completing it lets you recruit Jahoda, a four-star Anemo bow user, for free. Two bow users in one patch is a notable pattern, and players who run bow-heavy team compositions will want to pay attention to both.
Before vs. after: what changes on April 7
Right now, players are working through version 6.4's content. Come April 7, the shift is fairly significant on paper. A new explorable area, a new five-star, and a free four-star from an event all land in the same patch window. For players who've been saving Primogems, the codes from today's stream are a small but real top-up toward Linnea's banner.
The key here is that livestream codes represent some of the easiest free currency in the game. Three codes per preview stream, every version, no strings attached beyond having an account and redeeming before the clock runs out.
