Chapter 3, The Cure, is the longest chapter in Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf by a considerable margin. Lana needs two ingredients to save her sister, which sends her through a snow-battered mountain mine and then deep into a tropical ocean facility. The puzzle variety here is the best the game has to offer: wind timing, fuse chains, mining robots, underwater stealth, and a boat with a magnet. You can replay any chapter to collect missed secrets. Just make sure to reach the next checkpoint after opening a chest, or the pickup won't save.
How to get through the mountain wind sections
The chapter opens in a frozen mountain environment. After running forward and climbing the blue ice wall, the path splits. Go right and head outside, then drop down to find a chest containing Secret Hologram #2. Use Mui's special ability to open it. Climb back up and head left to reach the exposed ridge where wind becomes a hazard.
The wind knocks Lana off any open surface when it blows. The solution is simple once you see it: wait for a calm window, sprint across the gap, and crouch behind the rock on the other side. The rock blocks the wind entirely, so you can wait there safely. Repeat this pattern of dashing and sheltering across the next few gaps until you reach the wall. The wall's lower section is protected by another rock, so you can cling to it even during gusts.
How to solve the fuse puzzles
The fuse mechanic is introduced early and used repeatedly throughout the mountain section. Here's how it works: Mui can take control of the small white creatures scattered around each room. While inhabiting one, holding the special ability button as you move leaves a fuse trail on whatever surface you're touching. These creatures stick to walls and ceilings but can leap between nearby surfaces.
The goal in each fuse puzzle is to draw a connected line from a fire source to the webbing or blue squishy obstacles you need to destroy.
First fuse puzzle
Send Mui up to the cluster of white creatures, take control of one, and draw a fuse line from the webbing down to the flames. Don't approach the fire until the rest of the trail is in place. Once the line connects, jump the creature into the fire to ignite it.
Second fuse puzzle
This one adds a movable box. Start by climbing to the right side near the large squishy obstacle. Draw a fuse up the right side, around the obstacle, and back to the fire. When the obstacle burns and temporarily retreats, jump to the box and drag it left until it sits close enough to the ceiling that a white creature can leap between them. From that position, you can complete a fuse line from the fire all the way to the webbing.
Third fuse puzzle
This room has two blue squishy blockers that both need to catch fire simultaneously to clear a path upward. Move the box to the right so it nearly touches the rock above, then draw two separate fuse lines: one going the long way around to the upper blocker, and one to the lower one. Light both at the same time. When the fire passes the box, drag it over to the lower blocker. The moment that blocker drops, push the box onto it and climb up before the upper blocker closes the gap again. The timing is tight.
The blue squishy thing on the ground must be hit by fire first. If the upper one drops before you're in position, you'll need to restart the room.
How to get past cameras and robots in the snow
After the fuse section, Lana heads back outside into a security area patrolled by cameras with red detection beams. Crouching in the large snow patches hides you completely, even while moving. This is the main tool for the entire stealth stretch.
The camera controlled by a button requires a two-step approach. Press the button to rotate the camera away, send Mui down into the snow, then press the button again to swing the camera back. With the camera now pointing away from the generator on the far side, order Mui to activate it, which permanently kills the camera.
The long-legged robot section works differently. The first robot patrols a platform above you. Hide in the snow when it faces your direction, then sprint underneath the platform when it turns away. From there, wait for another opening and dash across the bridge into
