Forgotten Hall/Stages/3.3 | Honkai ...

Memory of Chaos is the hardest recurring endgame content in Honkai: Star Rail, and it's also where the bulk of your free Stellar Jade comes from each cycle. The current 4.1 phase runs the Grand Finale Memory Turbulence from April 13 to May 25, 2026, so there's still time to clear all 12 stages and collect every reward before the reset.

The core mechanic this phase rewards you for attacking often. Every time an ally uses an attack, they gain 1 Punchline point, which adds 1 Charge to Memory Turbulence, stacking up to 20 points total. At the start of each Cycle, Memory Turbulence deals True DMG to all enemies based on accumulated Charge. Build teams that attack frequently and you'll be working with the mode rather than against it.

How do you unlock Memory of Chaos?

You need to clear Forgotten Hall Memory Stage 15 first. That's the final level of the standard Forgotten Hall progression, and it gates access to all 12 Memory of Chaos stages. There's no shortcut here, so if you're still working through the earlier Memory stages, that's your priority.

What are the rewards for clearing Memory of Chaos?

Every stage you clear drops Lost Crystal x2, Lucent Afterglow x8, Traveler's Guide x2, Refined Aether x1, and Credit x10,000. The bigger payouts come from collecting Insignias.

The Jade Feathers earned from reaching 21 to 30 Insignias can be spent in the Priceless Jewels shop inside Forgotten Hall. Rewards reset each cycle, so consistent clears compound over time.

Stage-by-stage element guide

Each stage is split into two halves, and matching the right elements to each half's enemy weaknesses is the fastest way to clear. Below is the full breakdown for all 12 stages in Version 4.1, along with the recommended F2P teams from the Game8 walkthrough team.

Both Stage 1 and Stage 6 share the same element split. Run a Quantum carry in the first half, then swap to Imaginary and Physical dealers for the second half.

How to get the most out of Grand Finale Memory Turbulence

The current Turbulence rewards attack frequency directly. Characters who generate multiple hits per action, like Herta with her follow-up triggers or Serval with her lightning chain, build Charge faster than single-hit dealers. Asta appears across multiple F2P recommendations not just for her fire damage, but because her Skill hits multiple enemies and contributes Punchline points quickly.

With a cap of 20 Charge points, you want to reach that ceiling before the first Cycle ends if possible. Teams with follow-up attacks or multi-hit skills will consistently hit max Charge and deal True DMG to every enemy at the Cycle start, effectively giving you a free damage tick that scales with how aggressively you attacked.
