Where is the Slot Puzzle?
The Slot Puzzle sits on top of the shorter left-side building of Metrosteel, east of The Cauldron South. You will recognize it immediately because a giant question mark sits on top of a slot machine on the rooftop. On the map, look for the building icon itself and head to the top of that structure.
What character do you need for the Slot Puzzle?
You need Jim Gordon as your active sidekick. His Foam Sprayer is the key mechanic here. Without him, you cannot lock the symbols in place and the puzzle becomes impossible to complete.
Swap your sidekick to Jim Gordon before heading to the rooftop. Arriving without him means making the trip twice.
How do you solve the Cauldron South Slot Puzzle?
The contraption in front of the slot machine rotates through symbols when you interact with it. The wall nearby has a scribble showing the correct symbol combination you need to match.
- Rotate the contraption to cycle through the available symbols.
- When a symbol matches what the wall scribble shows, use Jim Gordon's Foam Gun to freeze that reel in place.
- Repeat this process for each position until all symbols match the pattern on the wall.
Once all symbols align with the scribble, the puzzle completes.

Where is the SubWayne Puzzle?
This puzzle is west of The Cauldron South at map coordinates 149, 398, hidden behind a blue shipping container at Storage Warehouse 5B. The container blocks the entrance entirely, so it is easy to walk past without realizing there is anything behind it.
If you see a blue shipping container with a plug attached to it near a warehouse, you are in the right place. The SubWayne entrance is directly behind it.
How do you solve the Cauldron South SubWayne Puzzle?
This one has three steps and requires a vehicle.
Step 1: Pull the shipping container
Mount a vehicle and aim at the plug on the blue shipping container using the L2 button. Hold R2 to pull it continuously until the container topples over, revealing the hidden area behind it.
Step 2: Activate the lever
Go around the fallen container and find the lever handle inside the nearby shed. Pick it up and insert it into the lever mechanism. This unlocks a pressure plate.
Step 3: Park on the pressure plate
Ride your vehicle onto the pressure plate. The weight of the vehicle lifts the shipping container that was blocking the SubWayne entrance. Press the button next to the entrance to finish the puzzle.

You cannot complete the SubWayne Puzzle on foot. A vehicle is required for both the container pull and the pressure plate activation. Make sure you have one before heading to the warehouse.
