The Outstanding Balance quest in Arc Raiders is one of those missions that sounds straightforward on paper and then immediately sends you into two of the most hostile zones on the Blue Gate map. Both objectives must land in a single raid, and you need to extract alive for any of it to count.
What the quest actually asks you to do
Three steps, one run. That's the deal with Outstanding Balance, a quest added as part of the Flashpoint update. First, find Dodger's stash inside the Traffic Tunnel. Second, track down Dodger's deal spot near the Pilgrim's Peak antenna. Third, deliver the note you find there to Tian Wen back at Speranza.
The catch is the word "single round." If you die before extracting, none of it counts. That changes how you approach the whole thing, and it's worth planning your loadout accordingly before you drop in.

Bring a safe pocket if you have one. Once you grab Dodger's note at Pilgrim's Peak, losing it to a bad extract would mean starting the whole quest over.
Navigating Traffic Tunnel without getting eaten alive
The Traffic Tunnel is not a casual stroll. A Bastion typically patrols between the abandoned vehicles, Shredders have been patrolling the area since the Flashpoint update, and the floor is reliably populated with Pops and Fireballs. Go in armed and ready to move fast.
Dodger's stash sits at the very northern tip of the tunnel, on the road that branches left from the main roundabout entrance. Look for a metal trolley stacked with cardboard boxes. Interacting with it triggers the first objective. The stash itself doesn't contain the quest item you need to extract with, so once it registers, head north toward Pilgrim's Peak.
Finding the deal spot at Pilgrim's Peak
Pilgrim's Peak is another sprawling location, but knowing the antenna narrows it down considerably. The fastest route up is around the back of the building, where a zipline gets you to the upper levels quickly.
You want the floor below the top level. Drop through the hole in the floor to reach the level with orange walls and power generators. Dodger's deal spot sits between two of those orange generators on the far side of the room. The prompt to search Dodger's bag appears when you're close enough. Searching it drops Dodger's note.
Getting out with the note
Once you have the note, extraction becomes the priority. The Prefab Hatch accepts a raider hatch key if you have one. The nearest standard extraction point is the Warehouse Airshaft to the south of Pilgrim's Peak. With the note in a safe pocket, a death won't cost you the item, but you still need a successful extract to complete the quest and deliver to Tian Wen.
The full three-step sequence is manageable in a single raid as long as you move efficiently between zones and don't get drawn into extended fights in the Traffic Tunnel. The Bastion in particular is a time sink that's worth avoiding entirely if your loadout isn't built for it.
