Modern Warfare III Season 3 Content ...

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 3 launches April 2, and Activision has fully revealed the battle pass lineup. Over 100 items are spread across free and premium tiers, covering new weapons, operators, blueprints, and a stack of cosmetics. Here's the lowdown on everything you can expect to earn.

What the standard $10 pass gets you

Purchasing the standard battle pass at $10 immediately unlocks Cole "Javelin" Donovan, the new JSOC faction operator headlining Season 3. That instant-unlock package also includes a 10% Battle Pass XP Boost, the "Tally" Legendary Blueprint for the AK-27 Assault Rifle, the "High Altitude" Weapon Charm, and the "Corvo" Large Decal.

The two brand-new weapons, the MK35 ISR assault rifle and the VST submachine gun, are both unlockable through the free tiers of the pass. The MK35 ISR sits as an HVT reward on page three, while the VST unlocks on page six. That means every player, regardless of whether they spend a dollar beyond the base pass, can get their hands on the new arsenal.

A new cross-class attachment also arrives this season. The VAS Convergence Foregrip, available on page seven, is compatible with assault rifles, light machine guns, submachine guns, and shotguns, making it one of the more flexible additions to the pass.

BlackCell at $30: Valkyrie skins and Mastercraft blueprints

The $30 BlackCell bundle is back with its usual premium stack. The headliner this season is the winged Valkyrie operator skin, which is an instant unlock with the purchase. Two additional Valkyrie variants, "Scarlett" and "Ash," are earnable through in-game challenges rather than handed over outright.

BlackCell also includes 1,100 CoD Points, the "Tribulation" Mastercraft Blueprint for the Razor 9MM SMG (complete with Tracers and Death FX), a "Say Hello" Finishing Move, a "Drone Caller" Emote, and the exclusive BlackCell HUD Theme and Clan Tag.

The exclusive operator skins for BlackCell owners are spread across the pass pages:

  • Page 2: "Lockdown" skin for T.E.D.D.
  • Page 5: "Serrated" skin for Wei Lin
  • Page 7: "Icecap" skin for Dempsey
  • Page 11: "Sleepless" skin for Richtofen
  • Page 13: "Tacit" skin for Karma
  • Completion reward: "Riven" skin for Javelin

Blueprints, reticles, and everything else

Weapon blueprints are well-represented this season. The "Flameout" blueprint for the M34 Novaline marksman rifle is an HVT reward on page one. The "Bulkhead" Hawker HX sniper rifle blueprint drops on page four, and the "Tropic" Peacekeeper MK1 assault rifle blueprint lands on page five.

Finishing moves and emotes fill out the middle pages, with highlights like the "Blades and Bullets" Finishing Move on page six and the "Good Luck" Finishing Move on page nine. Reticle unlocks, equipment skins for the Psych Grenade and Molotov, sprays, animated emblems, and animated calling cards round out the cosmetic side.

Players who reach the Completion Page unlock a final reward set that includes 200 CoD Points, the "Kinetic Demise" Maddox RFB Assault Rifle Blueprint, an "Aerial Drop-In" Animated Calling Card, and two "Near Death Experience" GobbleGums.

What this means for players heading into Season 3

The free weapon unlocks are the real story here. Getting two new guns, the MK35 ISR and VST, without spending anything beyond the base pass is a solid value proposition, especially with a new cross-class foregrip attachment thrown in. The BlackCell Valkyrie skin is clearly the prestige flex this season, but the challenge-based unlock system for the alternate variants adds some actual progression to what is usually a straight purchase.

Season 3 also brings new multiplayer maps, a new Zombies map, and new Endgame content alongside the battle pass, so there's plenty of context around these unlocks. Activision has signaled a broader shift in how it approaches Call of Duty releases going forward, with the Activision Blizzard newsroom worth bookmarking for official updates as Season 3 unfolds.
