Hop into our Eggstravaganza event!

The Disney Dreamlight Valley 2026 Eggstravaganza Event is live, and it brings more than just a seasonal coat of paint. Alongside a fresh batch of spring-themed quests, players are now working through Eggs-ceptional Decorating, a new activity that ties directly into the event's crafting and collection loop.

What the Eggstravaganza Event actually adds

The event introduces several new egg types that didn't exist in the base game: Fishy Green Eggs, Purple Spring Eggs, Wild Spring Eggs, and Egg-cellent Fruit, among others. Each one serves a specific purpose, whether that's crafting, cooking, selling, or just restoring energy in a pinch. Fishy Green Eggs, for instance, restore 100 energy if eaten and sell for 30 Gold Coins each, but their real value is as a crafting ingredient for the event's exclusive furniture.

Here's the thing: the event furniture isn't just cosmetic filler. Items like the Pastel Egg Cooking Station, five color-variant Egg Lampposts, and the Egg Banner are the kind of decorations that actually change how a player's valley looks. Most of these pieces require 5 Fishy Green Eggs alongside other egg types to craft, with the Pastel Egg Cooking Station being the outlier at 15 Fishy Green Eggs.

How Fishy Green Eggs fit into the quest

Getting Fishy Green Eggs isn't complicated, but it does require knowing where to look. These eggs only appear in purple fishing spots at Dazzle Beach, not scattered across the valley like other seasonal collectibles. Players fish them out using the Royal Fishing Rod, and each purple ripple yields exactly one egg.

Respawn timing on those purple spots ranges from nearly instant to about 90 seconds, and only up to 2 purple ripples appear at any given time. Bringing a fishing companion can squeeze out an extra egg per run, which matters if you're pushing toward the Pastel Egg Cooking Station and its 15-egg requirement.

The broader Eggstravaganza quest lineup

Eggs-ceptional Decorating is one of several quests running during the event. Players can also complete WALL-E Loves Flowers, Bunnies On The Run, Spring Taste Test, and That's Not Where Eggs Come From!, each pulling from the same pool of seasonal ingredients. The event is designed so that farming for one quest often feeds progress into another, which keeps the pacing from feeling like a chore.

Disney Dreamlight Valley has been running seasonal events like this since its early access launch, and the Eggstravaganza follows a familiar structure: limited-time ingredients, exclusive crafted furniture, and a handful of quests to complete before the window closes.

What players should prioritize right now

If you're jumping in fresh, the crafting furniture is the most time-sensitive reward. Egg Lampposts and the Egg Banner require 5 Fishy Green Eggs each, so players who want the full set are looking at a minimum of 35 Fishy Green Eggs just for those items, not counting the Pastel Egg Cooking Station.

The key here is to treat Dazzle Beach as your home base for the duration of the event. Fish the purple ripples whenever they appear, bring a companion, and funnel those eggs straight to the crafting station.
