Infinity and beyond, straight onto the Battle Royale island. Reliable leaker SamLeakss dropped details on a Toy Story crossover coming to Fortnite, and it sounds like one of the biggest Disney collabs Epic Games has pulled off yet.
According to the leak, the crossover is expected to land in late March or early April 2026, making it one of the first major collaboration drops of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2. The timing tracks, too. The Chapter 7 Season 2 Battle Pass launched without any collaboration skins baked in, which left a pretty obvious gap for a splashy collab reveal early in the season.
The Three Skins That Started the Buzz
The headline here is three skins: Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Zurg. That's a genuinely interesting trio. Woody and Buzz are the obvious picks, the heart of the franchise, but Zurg is the wild card that no one saw coming.
- Woody could arrive with a pull-string back bling, nodding to his "Snake in my boot" moment. There's also a chance he gets a black-and-white alternate style referencing his Woody's Roundup TV show from Toy Story 2.
- Buzz Lightyear is expected in his classic Space Ranger suit. His iconic wings could show up as a glider or a reactive back bling, which would be a perfect fit for someone who famously "falls with style."
- Zurg is the real curveball. He's a massive, imposing villain in the films, so it'll be fascinating to see how Epic Games adapts his silhouette to fit Fortnite's proportions without losing what makes him recognizable.
These details come from leakers, not an official Epic Games announcement. Specifics like styles and accessories could change before the final release.
Pizza Planet and the Sidekick Slots
The skins aren't the whole story. Leaks also point to a Pizza Planet Car joining the crossover as a vehicle cosmetic. That's a smart pick. The Pizza Planet truck is basically Pixar's version of a cinematic Easter egg, showing up in nearly every film the studio has made. As a car wrap in Fortnite, it works for both Battle Royale and Rocket Racing, giving it more mileage than a standard cosmetic.
On top of that, between one and two Fortnite Sidekicks are expected to drop alongside the collab. The identity of those Sidekicks hasn't been confirmed yet, but Rex feels like the natural frontrunner given how beloved the anxious little dinosaur is.
Why This Collab Fits Right Now
The Disney and Fortnite partnership has been building momentum steadily. Toy Story arriving in Chapter 7 Season 2 isn't a random drop. It's a franchise with decades of cultural weight, characters that players across every age group recognize instantly, and enough iconic imagery to fill out a full cosmetic bundle without feeling thin.
What most players miss about these Disney collabs is that they tend to set the tone for an entire season. If Toy Story lands as the first big crossover of Season 2, expect the rest of the season's collab slate to match that energy. Make sure to check out more:
