Battle Pass Free Tier Highlights
The Chapter 7 Season 1 Battle Pass, running until March 17, offers 27 free items to players who never buy the pass. These unlock simply by leveling up through normal play. You also earn 300 V-Bucks along the way, which can be put toward any of the paid passes.
Key free Battle Pass cosmetics include:

- Peely Surfer glider
- Stuntcopter glider
- Marty's Gibson ES-345 guitar

Three additional passes also offer free tiers that reward players simply for leveling up in any Fortnite experience.
Chappell Roan Music Pass
Nine free items are available without purchasing the Chappell Roan Music Pass, including:
- Love Song guitar
- Drumset Supernova drums
- She Is The Boss emote
- Flutter Dreams aura
- Pink Pony Star back bling
OG Pass (Season 7)
Fortnite OG Season 7's pass unlocks 12 free items for non-buyers, including two gliders, two pickaxes, two back blings, a weapon wrap, and an emote. Standouts include the Festive Cane and Void Walker's Claws pickaxes, plus the Llamacorn Sleigh emote.
Ninjago Lego Pass
The Ninjago Lego Pass offers a free Fire Tornado emote, a loading screen, and eight sets of Lego Fortnite decor items for use in Lego Fortnite Odyssey, Lego Fortnite Brick Life, and related Creative experiences.

- The Season 21 Rocket Pass (ending March 11) offers the Chanoir Octane decal, Deity wheels, and Deity: Radiant wheels for free.
- Participating in Rocket League tournaments and winning earns loot crate points. In Season 20, six items transfer to Fortnite, including Ramen Rush boost and drift trail, plus four sets of wheels.
Account Links and Quest Unlocks
Some free cosmetics require nothing more than connecting accounts or completing short quest chains.
- Link a Lego account to your Epic Games account to instantly unlock both Fortnite and Lego styles for the Explorer Emilie and Mr. Dappermint skins.
- Activate the Lego True Explorers quest pack (free in the item shop) and complete quests in Lego Fortnite Odyssey to earn the Trailblazer Tai skin and back bling.

For Rocket Racing ranked players, rewards include Tread Dread and Lamp Lighter wheels, Swave boost, and the Deep Space trail.
