The $400 price gets you the standalone Nintendo Switch 2 console. That's it. The Mario Kart World bundle isn't part of this offer, so if you want the game, you're paying another $80 on top. That makes the math less appealing compared to earlier bundle deals that floated around $450 for both the system and the game.
Walmart ran one of those bundle promotions earlier in December, which ended up being a better value if you planned to grab Mario Kart World anyway. Still, $400 for the console alone is the lowest standalone price we've tracked during the Switch 2's first holiday season.
