Seven new One Piece Lego sets are landing on August 1, and preorders are already live. Timed to the arrival of Netflix's live-action Season 2, the lineup spans everything from a compact $30 hideout to a $180 pirate ship loaded with 8 minifigures. Whether you're a collector, a builder, or just a fan who wants Tony Tony Chopper sitting on your shelf, there's something in this batch worth paying attention to.
The full lineup at a glance
Here's every set confirmed for the August 1 release, with piece counts and pricing:
All seven are available to preorder directly through Lego's website. The Tony Tony Chopper, Dr. Hiriluk's Hideout, and Dorry vs. Brogy sets are also listed on Amazon.
The flagship set: Garp's Marine Battleship
At 1,705 pieces and $180, Garp's Marine Battleship (set 75646) is the centerpiece of this wave. Lego ship builds have a strong track record with collectors, and this one packs in 8 minifigures: Zoro, Usopp, Miss All Sunday, Nami, Tashigi, Helmeppo, Vice Admiral Garp, and Koby. That's a serious roster for one set, and the fully brick-built hull should make for a satisfying multi-session build.
Two sets built for display
The Tony Tony Chopper figure (577 pieces, $70) is a posable full-size build with a printed name brick on the base, making it shelf-ready out of the box. His arms and head move, and he comes with buildable accessories from the show. It pairs well with a manga collection or alongside the other character-focused Lego builds.
The Gum-Gum Fruit (482 pieces, $70) takes a different approach. The completed model opens up to reveal a mini vignette of a young Monkey D. Luffy discovering the fruit in Windmill Village. Two minifigures are included: adult Luffy with his extendable arm, and young Luffy. The printed logo base makes it a natural centerpiece for a desk or shelf.
info
The Gum-Gum Fruit set includes both adult and young Luffy minifigures, making it one of the more unique display pieces in the wave.
Scene-based dioramas and castle builds
Battle at Drum Castle (1,038 pieces, $110) brings six minifigures: Luffy, Nami, Sanji, Vivi, Tony Tony Chopper, and King Wapol. At over 1,000 pieces it's a solid build without being the largest castle Lego has ever produced, but the character selection is strong for fans of that arc.
Showdown with Captain Smoker (547 pieces, $70) recreates a section of the Loguetown market, with a fish stand, katana store, recruitment center, and a motorcycle all packed into the diorama. The four minifigures included are Luffy, Sanji, Dragon, and Captain Smoker.
The oversized build that actually makes sense
Dorry vs. Brogy - Giants of Little Garden (733 pieces, $80) is the most conceptually clever set in the wave. Oversized buildable figures aren't new for Lego, but building two giants locked in combat directly mirrors how those characters exist in the source material. The set also includes six standard minifigures: Mr. 13, Miss Friday, Zoro, Usopp, Mr. 3, and Miss Goldenweek.
The budget pick
Dr. Hiriluk's Hideout (271 pieces, $30) is the entry point of the wave. The room expands for display and collapses for shelf storage, and comes with three minifigures: Dr. Hiriluk, Dr. Kureha, and Tony Tony Chopper. For fans who want a piece of this collection without the bigger price tags, this is the one to start with.
All seven sets hit retail on August 1. Preorders are live now at Lego.com, with select sets also available through Amazon. For more on what's coming in gaming and collectibles, make sure to check out more:
