June is shaping up to be one of the busiest months Pokemon Go has had in a while. The game's newest season, Forever Forward, launches on June 2 and brings with it a full calendar of raid rotations, team leader research events, a packed Community Day, and at least one surprise Mega Raid Day still to be fully detailed. If you've been looking for a reason to grind, this is it.

What the raid schedule looks like this month
The five-star rotation hits some heavy hitters right out of the gate. Reshiram holds down raids from June 3-9, followed by Zekrom from June 10-16. Both are Pokemon Black and White mascots that players have been chasing for years, so those two weeks are worth prioritizing if you're still missing them or hunting shinies.
After that, Necrozma takes over from June 17-23, then the Ultra Beasts split by hemisphere: Kartana in the Northern Hemisphere and Celesteela in the Southern Hemisphere, both running June 24-30. That hemisphere split is worth keeping in mind if you're planning any remote raid trades with friends on the other side of the world.
Mega Raids rotate through Mega Audino, Mega Lopunny, Mega Scizor, and Mega Pidgeot, each holding a week-long slot through the month. Shadow Dialga runs in Shadow Raids from June 2 all the way through June 30, giving you the entire month to take a shot at one of the more sought-after Shadow Legendaries in the game.
Max Battles cycle through Dynamax Inkay, Electabuzz, Roggenrola, Hoothoot, and Pidove in weekly windows, with the last slot running into early July.
The Mega Raid Day on June 27 still has details to be confirmed. Keep an eye on official Pokemon Go channels closer to the date for the featured Mega and any ticket details.
Spark and Candela both want your help
Team leader research quests are back, and this time two of the three leaders are running events back to back.
Spark's Quest for Caretaking runs June 2-8, focused on egg hatching and exploration. During the event, 7 km eggs have a better shot at hatching Pichu, Varoom, Galarian Corsola, and Hisuian Qwilfish, while Alolan Raichu, Dratini, and Jolteon show up more in the wild. Free and paid Go Passes are part of the deal, unlocking extra rewards as you progress through tasks.
Candela's Quest for Victory picks up immediately after, running June 9-15, and it's built around battling. Raid bosses during that window include Hisuian Growlithe, Machamp, and Scizor, while fire and fighting types dominate wild spawns. Field Research tasks reward encounters with Flareon, Hisuian Growlithe, and others. Same Go Pass structure applies here.
Back-to-back team leader events means the first half of June stays active. That's two weeks of themed spawns, research tasks, and extra encounter opportunities before Community Day weekend even arrives.
Frigibax gets its moment in the spotlight
Frigibax Community Day lands on June 20, running from 2-5 PM local time. The ice dragon has been one of the harder Pokemon to pin down in the wild, so the boosted spawn window is genuinely useful for anyone still building up candy.
The real incentive is Baxcalibur. Evolve Frigibax all the way to its final form by 9 PM local time on Community Day and it learns the exclusive Charged Attack Glaive Rush. That's a move worth having, so the evolution window extends well past the active spawn hours.
Bonus stacking is strong for this one. You're looking at triple Stardust and double candy per catch, double candy XL odds for players at level 31 and above, three-hour Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense), one-hour Lure Modules, one additional Special Trade, and trades costing 50 percent less Stardust. Shiny odds are boosted as well, and there's a chance at Frigibax with a special background.

Flying Taxi and what's still coming
The month closes with Flying Taxi, running June 23-29. Details are still being held back, but Team Go Rocket is confirmed to take over the event from June 25-29 in a sub-event called Flying Taxi: Taken Over. Rocket invasions typically mean Shadow Pokemon opportunities and Giovanni encounters, though the specifics haven't been confirmed yet.
The Mega Raid Day on June 27 sits inside that Flying Taxi window, which suggests the two events may be connected. Whether that means a flying-type Mega or something else entirely is still unknown.
