Nearly three years after launch, Insomniac Games is still dropping free content for Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Update v1.005.000 rolled out today, and it brings more than just the usual bug fixes.
Two new suits, both tied to bigger Sony releases

The first suit is the Fresh Start suit, drawn from the Spider-Man: Brand New Day film releasing in cinemas this week. The second is the Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls suit, a cel-shaded design pulled from the Sony-published fighting game launching on August 6. What the PS5 Pro upgrade actually means
The bigger technical news in v1.005.000 is the enhanced PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution) support for PS5 Pro owners. PSSR is Sony's machine learning-based upscaling solution, and the enhanced implementation here should deliver noticeably sharper image quality compared to the standard PSSR pass the game shipped with.
For players on a standard PS5, the update also introduces Power Saver mode, which reduces game performance or resolution to lower energy consumption. It's a minor quality-of-life addition, but worth knowing it's there.
