How Redemption Actually Works
There's no progression gate here. You don't need to reach a certain level or complete a tutorial first. From the moment you load in, the option is available.
Head to the spawn campsite and look for NPC Cody, who has a legacy X icon above their head. Interact with Cody, type the code into the text field that appears, then hit REDEEM to collect your reward. That's it.
What Happened to the Old Codes
A handful of codes have already expired and won't work anymore, no matter how many times you try. For reference, here's what's been retired:

None of these are coming back. If you see them listed elsewhere as active, they're outdated.
