The broadcast that packed a lot into half an hour
Microsoft's March Xbox Partner Preview aired on March 26, and the 30-minute broadcast managed to fit in 19 games, 7 of which were world premieres. Narrated by Dispatch voice actor Aaron Paul, the show opened with a vampire-hunting first-person reveal and closed with a post-apocalyptic robot mystery. In between, there were release dates, Game Pass confirmations, and a few genuine surprises.
14 of the 19 games shown will be available day one with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which makes this a particularly strong broadcast for subscribers.
The headliners: Hades 2, STALKER 2 DLC, and Stranger Than Heaven
Hades 2 finally has an Xbox release date. Supergiant Games' critically acclaimed roguelike sequel, which launched on PC and Nintendo Switch in September, arrives on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Cloud on April 14. It will be available day one on Game Pass.

That's the biggest confirmed date from the show. But the announcement that generated the most footage was Stranger Than Heaven, the next game from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio (the Like a Dragon team). A new trailer confirmed the game spans five distinct time periods and five unique cities, though no release date was given. RGG is holding a dedicated broadcast, "Xbox Presents: A Special Look at Stranger Than Heaven," on May 6, where more details on the story, cast, and characters are expected.

GSC Game World also confirmed the first major expansion for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Titled Cost of Hope, the DLC centers on the conflict between the Duty and Freedom factions and takes players to the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant and the Iron Forest region. GSC says it contains over 20 hours of new content. It launches summer 2026.

Rebellion, the studio behind Atomfall and the Sniper Elite series, revealed its next project: Alien Deathstorm. It's a first-person survival game set on a storm-ravaged off-world colony, where players face both violent weather and waves of alien creatures. No release window was given beyond 2027, but it will be on Game Pass and support Xbox Cloud.
The show opened with Hunter: The Reckoning - Deathwish, a first-person action game set in the World of Darkness universe (the same fiction that houses Vampire: The Masquerade). The trailer follows a team of hunters pursuing a vampire disguised as law enforcement. It's due in summer 2027 and will support Xbox Cloud.
The broadcast closed with Artificial Detective, a third-person adventure starring a wise-cracking robot tasked with uncovering why humanity disappeared. A single human child factors into the mystery. It's targeting 2027 for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Cloud.
Also revealed for the first time: Moosa: Dirty Fate, a third-person sword combat game set in Feudal Korea from Iggymob (the Gungrave G.O.R.E. developer), and Vaunted, a tactical RPG with real-time combat and three unreliable narrators, coming to Xbox on PC later in 2026.

The January Developer Direct covered first-party titles like Forza Horizon 6, Fable, and Kiln. This Partner Preview fills in the gaps with third-party and partner releases that will land between those bigger launches. The density of Game Pass inclusions, 14 out of 19 games confirmed for the subscription, continues Microsoft's push to make the service the default entry point for Xbox players.
The Stranger Than Heaven dedicated broadcast on May 6 is the clearest next milestone. RGG's games have built a dedicated following, and a five-era, five-city structure is an ambitious premise that warrants its own event.
