Cursed Gear Guide: All Gear Locations

Finding the right gear in Cursed Gear is the single most important decision you'll make in this Roblox title. Your chosen gear defines your combat identity, shapes every skill you unlock, and determines how your build develops from early grinding all the way to endgame fights. The problem is that not all gears sit in obvious spots, and a few require navigating hidden rooms, secret buttons, and underground tunnels before you can claim them. This guide walks you through every gear location with precise directions so you can grab your class of choice without wasting time wandering the map.

Where Are All the Gear Locations in Cursed Gear?

There are nine gears total in Cursed Gear, and they are spread across several distinct areas in the Shibuya-inspired map. The good news is that most of them cluster together, so a single run through the right streets can net you multiple options to compare before committing. Here is a quick reference for every gear and its location zone.

Projector, Constructor, Manipulator, Executioner, and Ravager

Five gears in one room is a fantastic deal, and that is exactly what you get with this cluster. All five sit inside a single shop in the Shibuya district, making this the most efficient gear-hunting stop on the map.

Follow these steps from Shibuya Station:

  1. Exit the station by taking the stairs up to street level.
  2. Walk past the wagon and head straight toward the Shibuya crossing.
  3. Follow the street that runs between the two buildings displaying "Asura" on their billboards.
  4. Continue down that street until you spot two shops on either side with red signs.
  5. Immediately after passing the scaffolding, turn right.
  6. Run straight through the alleyway until you reach a shop with neon green lettering.
  7. Step inside and you will find all five gears displayed on tables throughout the room.

Take your time comparing the options here before picking one up. Once you commit to a gear, your skill tree and playstyle branch from that choice.

How to Find the Sensor Gear

Sensor requires a two-part activation sequence before you can collect it, making it slightly trickier than the five gears above. Start from the same area near the neon green shop.

  1. Locate the noodle restaurant directly across from the neon sign shop.
  2. Inside the restaurant, find the button behind the kitchen island and press it.
  3. After pressing the button, head back to the Shibuya crossing and take the first right onto the street with red brick pavement.
  4. Follow the Tech building on your right as a landmark to confirm you are heading the correct direction.
  5. Run to the far end of the street and enter the last building on the left.
  6. This door is only unlocked after pressing the button in the noodle restaurant, so do not skip that step.
  7. Collect Sensor inside.

How to Get Usurper and Interceptor

Usurper is widely considered the strongest gear in Cursed Gear according to community tier rankings, largely because its Windswept God Fist ability lets you reset your M1 combo mid-fight. That kind of sustained pressure is difficult for opponents to handle. Interceptor sits in the same building, so you can scout both options in one visit.

Starting from the Shibuya crossing:

  1. Look for the street with a large red "Hotel" sign and head that direction.
  2. Find the alleyway on the left side of the Hotel sign and walk straight through it.
  3. You will arrive at Konga Mall.
  4. Inside the mall, locate the metal door positioned between some coolers.
  5. Attack the door to break it open, then step through.
  6. Take the elevator on the left up to the next floor.
  7. Exit the elevator and walk straight ahead.
  8. Usurper is on a table to the left.
  9. Interceptor is through the door directly across from Usurper.

How to Find the Hydra Gear (Hidden Route)

Hydra has the most involved route of any gear in the game. The path runs through the Undercity underground area, past enemy NPCs, and into a hidden tomb. Bringing a friend along to draw NPC attention while you navigate makes this significantly easier.

Start at Shibuya Station:

  1. Enter the glowing blue tunnel on the right side of the station to drop into the Undercity drainage area.
  2. Walk straight through the drainage until you spot a door on the left.
  3. Inside that room, press the yellow button to open the elevator door, then press the blue button once you step inside.
  4. When the elevator opens, turn left and sprint through a small metal door.
  5. At the end of that tunnel, turn left again.
  6. Keep moving straight until you reach a grassy field with ruins.
  7. Destroy the fifth wall on the left side of the ruins.
  8. You enter a tomb-like tunnel lit with candles and decorated with pots.
  9. Inside the tomb tunnel, destroy the third wall on the right.
  10. Turn left and continue straight until you reach a grey room with boxes and tables.
  11. Hydra is sitting on the table in the center of the room.

What Is the Best Gear in Cursed Gear?

Based on current community consensus, Usurper sits at the top of the gear rankings. The combo reset mechanic from Windswept God Fist enables continuous offensive pressure that few opponents can counter reliably. It rewards players who invest time into mastering its rhythm and punishes those who do not.

That said, gear choice is ultimately about your preferred playstyle. Sensor suits players who prefer a more technical, positioning-based approach, while Ravager and Executioner appeal to those who want straightforward aggression. Spend time in the neon green shop comparing your options before making a final pick.
