Void Fragments are one of the most sought-after early-game materials in Sailor Piece, and for good reason. You need them to hit Ascend 2 and to unlock the Gojo fighting style, so getting comfortable with the farming loop sooner rather than later saves a lot of frustration. The process is straightforward once you know the rules, but there are a few tricks that make the grind considerably faster.
Where do Void Fragments come from?
Void Fragments drop from exactly one enemy: the Limitless Sorcerer (the Gojo-inspired boss) at Shibuya Station. There is no alternate farming method, no chest, no mob grind. It is purely a boss drop.
The boss spawns at the back of the Shibuya Station map, behind the skyscrapers in the centre of the area. You will either find him already active or see a respawn timer on screen. The spawn timer is 7 minutes and 30 seconds between kills.

Gojo spawn at Shibuya Station
Once he goes down, the Void Fragment has a 20% drop chance. That is not guaranteed, so expect to run the fight multiple times before your inventory fills up.
How to farm Gojo efficiently
The 7.5-minute respawn timer is the main bottleneck. Sitting in one server and watching the clock is the slowest approach. Here is a faster method:
- Set your spawn point at Shibuya Island before you start
- After each kill, exit the game completely and rejoin
- This lets you server hop, landing you in a fresh server where Gojo may have already spawned
- Repeat until you land on a server with an active or near-ready boss
This does not guarantee a fully-spawned boss every time, but it cuts your average wait time significantly compared to sitting idle in a single server.
Boosting your drop rate with Luck
Luck directly affects how often Void Fragments appear in your loot notifications. To push that 20% base rate higher:
- Equip every title and artifact you own that adds Luck
- Head to Sailor Island and reroll your Luck stat at the appropriate vendor
The more Luck you stack before the fight, the better your odds per kill. This matters most if you are farming for both Ascension and the Gojo style simultaneously, since you need a combined 11 Void Fragments to cover both uses.
Stack Luck gear before every Gojo kill, not just occasionally. Even a small Luck increase compounds across dozens of attempts.
What are Void Fragments used for?
There are two distinct uses, and knowing which one to prioritise changes how many fragments you actually need to farm.
Ascend 2 at the Ascension vendor
The Ascension system on Sailor Island is a long-term progression mechanic with eight total tiers. Each tier grants permanent buffs to money gain, gem gain, and Luck. Reaching Ascend 2 requires 5 Void Fragments, making this the first major gate where the material becomes relevant.
The Ascension vendor is the Killua-dressed NPC standing near the gate at the entrance to Sailor Island.
The Gojo fighting style
If you want to fight like the Limitless Sorcerer, the Gojo Trainer NPC at Shibuya Station has a lengthy shopping list. Here is exactly what you need:
You also need to complete a three-part questline before the trainer will teach you:
- Q1: Kill 350 mobs
- Q2: Use any ability 350 times (note: Light F, Gojo, and Sukuna C abilities do not count toward this total)
- Q3: Kill the Gojo Boss 15 times
Killing Gojo 15 times for the questline means you will accumulate Void Fragments, Limitless Rings, and Infinity Cores naturally alongside your progress. By the time you reach 11 Void Fragments total, you will likely have the other boss drops covered as well.
How many Void Fragments do you actually need?
Here is a quick breakdown so you can plan your farm before you start:
Once you have 11 fragments, there is no further use for additional drops. Farm with that target in mind and stop grinding once you hit it.
Do not skip the Luck reroll on Sailor Island before farming. With a 20% base drop rate and an 11-fragment target, you will need roughly 55 attempts at minimum, and more if Luck is low. Every percentage point matters at that volume.
