The Return Update is the most impactful update Steal a Brainrot has received in months. Update 35 reintroduces the long-awaited Fuse Machine, adds a new theft-free Tsunami mode, and expands the Secret rarity pool with Hydra Dragon Cannelloni. Together, these changes reshape how players approach collecting units, managing bases, and progressing through rebirths.
What’s New in The Return Update
Update 35 introduces three major gameplay features alongside a new rebirth tier. The Fuse Machine returns as a crafting-focused system that rewards long-term planning. Tsunami Mode temporarily removes stealing, allowing players to focus entirely on collecting and income. Hydra Dragon Cannelloni enters the game as a new Secret-tier Brainrot worth chasing for serious players.
Rebirth 18 rounds out the update by improving mobility and inventory management, both of which directly support the new systems.

Fuse Machine interface
How Does the Fuse Machine Work?
The Fuse Machine operates on a simple four-for-one exchange system. You'll submit any four Brainrots from your base inventory, then wait several hours while the machine processes your submission. What you get back depends entirely on what you put in.
Here's the thing most players miss: rarity influences outcome probability. Submitting four Common units gives you decent chances at Common or Rare Fuse Brainrots. But combining four Legendary units dramatically increases your odds of pulling Epic, Legendary, or even Secret-tier exclusives.
Fuse Machine Brainrot Pool
The Return update reintroduced six classic Fuse units across all rarity tiers:
- Pipi Corni (Common) - Entry-level Fuse unit
- Pipi Avocado (Rare) - Mid-tier income option
- Ti Ti Ti Sahur (Epic) - Strong passive earner
- Penguino Cocosino (Epic) - Alternative Epic choice
- Cocosini Mama (Legendary) - High-value placement unit
- Pi Pi Watermelon (Legendary) - Premium income generator
Save your Legendary and Epic units for Fuse attempts. The investment pays off when you land exclusive units that can't spawn naturally on the Red Carpet.
Tsunami Mode Explained
Tsunami Mode is a limited-time event that completely disables the theft mechanic. During this mode, Brainrots cannot be stolen, which removes the need for base defense and changes how players prioritize their time.
With stealing turned off, Tsunami Mode becomes a pure collection and income-focused experience. Players can safely hunt Red Carpet spawns, collect Lucky Blocks, and place high-value units without worrying about losing them.
Because the mode is temporary, timing matters. Once Tsunami Mode ends, normal theft rules return.
Tsunami Mode Tips & Tricks
The most effective approach is to prioritize the Red Carpet as soon as Tsunami Mode activates. Secret and Legendary spawns should take priority, while Lucky Blocks can be collected afterward since there is no immediate risk.
Bases during Tsunami Mode should be optimized entirely for income. Defensive layouts are unnecessary, which allows players to experiment with high-value placements that would normally be unsafe. This makes Tsunami Mode one of the best opportunities to build resources quickly.
Players should always keep an eye on the event timer and secure valuable units before the mode expires.
How to Get Hydra Dragon Cannelloni
Hydra Dragon Cannelloni spawns exclusively on the Red Carpet as a Secret rarity unit. You're hunting for one of the rarest drops in the game, competing with other Secret-tier Brainrots like those covered in our Los Planitos guide.
The spawn mechanics remain identical to other Carpet units. You'll need persistence and timing. Camp the Carpet during low-population servers to reduce competition. Secret units appear randomly, so consistent checking beats sporadic attempts.
As a Secret-tier unit, Hydra Dragon Cannelloni generates premium income per second. Place it prominently on your base for maximum cash flow. The unit's value makes it a prime theft target in standard mode, so pair it with strong defensive positioning or save it for Tsunami windows.
Rebirth 18 and Flash Teleport
Rebirth 18 adds two important upgrades. Players gain an extra inventory slot and unlock the Flash Teleport gear.
Flash Teleport allows instant travel between key locations, including the base and the Red Carpet. This significantly reduces downtime and makes reacting to Secret spawns much easier. It also helps players reposition quickly when under threat from thieves.
The added inventory slot pairs well with the Fuse Machine. More space means players can store Fuse materials while maintaining income units, speeding up long-term progression.
Flash Teleport has a cooldown between uses. Plan your teleports strategically rather than spamming the ability.

The Return update rewards both strategic planning and active grinding. Whether you're chasing exclusive Fuse combinations or building the ultimate Secret collection, Update 35 gives you multiple paths to progression that didn't exist before.
