Bellabel Park is the headline addition to Super Mario Bros. Wonder on Nintendo Switch 2, packed with multiplayer-focused levels, challenging trials, and content you won't find anywhere else in the base game. The good news: getting there doesn't take long. A handful of early levels stand between you and the park gates, and the path is straightforward once you know what to look for.
What is Bellabel Park?
Bellabel Park is an exclusive area added to the Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park version of the game. It's not available in the original Switch release or as a standalone download for the base game. When you first enter the park, the Koopalings steal the seven Bellabel Flowers from the park grounds, kicking off a new set of objectives. Captain Toad and the Recruit Poplin are on hand to help you get oriented once you arrive.
The park sits within World 1: Pipe-Rock Plateau, so you'll encounter it early in your playthrough rather than having to grind through half the game first.

How do you unlock Bellabel Park?
To open up Bellabel Park, you need to clear four specific levels in World 1: Pipe-Rock Plateau in order. Here's the exact sequence:
- Welcome to the Flower Kingdom
- Piranha Plants on Parade
- Scram, Skedaddlers
- Badge Challenge: Parachute Cap 1
Completing that fourth level earns you the Parachute Cap badge, which also unlocks a more open, explorable section of Pipe-Rock Plateau. That's when Bellabel Park becomes reachable.
If you're playing a save file that's already past this point, you don't need to replay anything. Just head back to the World 1 open area and follow the steps below.

How to actually get inside the park
Once you're in the open area of Pipe-Rock Plateau, look for the entrance to Bellabel Park near the start of that section. A piranha plant and its thorns are blocking the door. You'll need to spend some of the Wonder Seeds you've collected up to this point to clear the plant and open the path.
After removing the obstruction, head through the door. A short minecart ride carries you into Bellabel Park automatically. When you land, take the time to talk to every NPC in the area. They'll explain how the park's activities and multiplayer features work, which saves you a lot of guesswork.
Wonder Seeds are the same currency used to unlock other paths in the game. Prioritize clearing the four required levels before spending Seeds elsewhere if Bellabel Park is your first destination.
What's waiting for you inside Bellabel Park?
The park offers content built specifically around the Switch 2's multiplayer capabilities. Expect a mix of trial-style levels that test your skills and stages designed for cooperative or competitive play with other players. The Koopalings' theft of the seven Bellabel Flowers sets up the park's central challenge, giving you a clear goal to chase beyond just exploring.
For players who already own Super Mario Bros. Wonder on the original Switch and purchased the Switch 2 upgrade, all of this content is accessible through that upgrade path. For anyone buying the game fresh on Switch 2, the full Nintendo Switch 2 Edition includes it from the start.
The Bellabel Park content is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2 version. Players on the original Switch cannot access it, even with a fully completed save file.
The unlock process is genuinely fast for a new save. Most players will reach the open area of World 1 within the first hour of play, meaning Bellabel Park is accessible well before the game's difficulty ramps up.
