Magicite Fragments are one of the two main currencies in The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, and they matter a lot more than the other one. While Tul handles everyday purchases like items and consumables, Magicite Fragments are what you spend to craft powerful boons onto your weapons and tools. Run low on them and your character progression stalls fast.
The good news is there are four distinct ways to build up your Magicite supply, and knowing which to prioritize at each stage of the game makes a real difference. Here is everything you need to know.

What are Magicite Fragments used for?
Magicite Fragments are the crafting currency for weapon and tool boons in The Adventures of Elliot. Unlike Tul, which you spend at shops, Magicite goes directly into powering up your gear. The more fragments you have, the more boons you can apply, making this resource worth actively farming rather than passively collecting.
How to get Magicite Fragments: all four methods
There are four reliable sources of Magicite Fragments in the game. Some are passive, some require specific effort, and one is locked behind a late-game location. Knowing all four lets you plan your farming sessions efficiently.
Disassembling Magicite mods
The most straightforward source is disassembly. Head to any Magicite vendor in a town, select the Disassemble option, and break down any Magicite mod you no longer need. Each destroyed mod returns Magicite Fragments to your pool.
The system also handles duplicates automatically. If you pick up a mod you already own, the game disassembles the duplicate without any input from you, so you are always converting redundant drops into usable fragments.

Enemy drops and the no-hit bonus
Regular enemies drop +1 or +2 Magicite Fragments on defeat. That sounds small, but it adds up during extended exploration. Boss encounters are where the real payoff happens: clearing a boss rewards more than 40 fragments in a single fight.
The key multiplier here is your drop bonus. Defeating enemies without taking a hit increases both your Tul and Magicite Fragment drops. Playing cleanly is not just about survival, it is a direct farming upgrade.
Treasure chests and hidden areas
Scattered throughout the game are chests that contain Magicite Crystals. The world map and individual area maps display chest icons, so use them to track down any containers you have missed. Pay particular attention to shortcuts and hidden pathways since those are where the less obvious chests tend to sit.
Keeping an eye on the blue chest icons on your maps is an easy habit that pays off over the course of a full playthrough.
Temple of Trials: the best late-game source
For players further into the game, the Temple of Trials is the most efficient Magicite Fragment source available. Here is what you need to know about it:
Each trial room runs on a timer with tiers, and the faster you clear the room, the more fragments you earn. This is where your combat efficiency directly translates into farming output.
One important note: once you have cleared a trial, running it again at the same difficulty only rewards Tul. The fragment income stops until you unlock harder difficulty versions later in the game, which reset the fragment rewards and give you fresh runs to complete.
Which method should you focus on?
The answer depends on where you are in the game. Early on, enemy drops and chest hunting cover your needs. As you progress, prioritize:
- Disassembly as a constant background habit whenever you visit vendors
- Boss fights for large single-session fragment payouts
- Temple of Trials as your primary dedicated farming activity once unlocked
- No-hit play as a passive multiplier across all of the above
The combination of clean combat and regular vendor visits keeps fragment income steady without requiring dedicated grinding sessions until the Temple of Trials opens up.
