Capcom's March 2026 Spotlight broadcast dropped a wave of announcements across nearly every major franchise in its lineup, from an earlier-than-expected launch date for Pragmata to new details on Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, Mega Man, Street Fighter 6, and a full slate of Resident Evil 30th anniversary events.
Pragmata Moves Up a Full Week
The biggest surprise of the showcase was Pragmata shifting its release date from April 24 to April 17, giving players a full week's head start on the sci-fi action-adventure. A new trailer unveiled fresh locations, enemy types, and narrative context around the rogue AI IDUS aboard a mysterious lunar research station. The trailer also introduced the Shelter, a hub mechanic where players can listen to original soundtracks and watch companion android Diana dance.
The game follows astronaut Hugh and Diana as they fight to escape the station and return to Earth.
Monster Hunter Stories 3 Pre-Launch Details
With Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection launching on March 13 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, Capcom released a final pre-launch trailer spotlighting the Prince/Princess of Azuria and the story's central cast.
Several bonus features were also confirmed:
- Pre-order bonus: Limited edition armor set for Eleanor, Princess of Vermeil
- Save data bonuses from four Monster Hunter titles unlock corresponding outfits:

Mega Man Gets Two Major Updates
Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection arrives on March 27 across Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The seven-game collection includes enhanced audio-visuals, new customization options, and three online play modes: Casual Match, Ranked Match, and Friend Match. The Brother/Friends List cap has jumped from 6 to 100. Pre-order bonuses include four Music Player arrangements and two character models for the main menu.
As an added bonus, the Mega Man Star Force anime is now available to watch for free.
On the new release front, Mega Man: Dual Override revealed the six community-voted finalists from its Robot Master Design Contest, which drew over 10,000 entries. The top six voted designs are Cleanser Man, Cactus Man, Sweeper Woman, Recycle Man, Juggle Man, and Valve Man. The development team will make the final selection, and the winning design will fill out the game's eight Robot Master boss lineup.

Street Fighter 6 Brings Alex to the Arena
Street Fighter 6 fighter Alex is arriving on March 17, with motion capture performed in part by pro wrestling icon Kenny Omega. His original BGM track, GO! ALEX! Hope is Born!, is performed by anime song band JAM Project.
Alongside Alex's arrival, Dee Jay and Elena are receiving summer-themed Outfit 4 costumes. The showcase also teased exclusive skins for A.K.I. and Rashid tied to the Capcom Cup 12 event, plus new footage from the upcoming Street Fighter movie.
Resident Evil Marks 30 Years
The Resident Evil franchise's 30th anniversary is being celebrated with several events running throughout the year:
- Universal Studios Japan collaboration: A large-scale Resident Evil Requiem (RE9) themed project is planned for sometime this year, coinciding with USJ's own 25th anniversary
- RE2 Arcade Game: A new arcade cabinet adaptation of Resident Evil 2 lets players control Leon and Claire with immersive hardware including air jets and floor vibration
- Symphony of Legacy World Tour: The 30th Anniversary Concert begins in August, with European dates in London, Paris, and Vienna now confirmed and tickets on sale. North American dates are still to be announced
- Resident Evil Generation Pack: A limited bundle containing Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Resident Evil Village, and Resident Evil Requiem is available now through March 31

Onimusha Returns With an Overview Trailer
Onimusha: Way of the Sword received an overview trailer showcasing its Edo-era Japan setting and hack-and-slash gameplay. Protagonist Miyamoto wields an Oni Gauntlet to battle the demonic Genma forces occupying Kyoto. Rival Sasaki Ganryu was also highlighted as a key figure in the story. Combat mechanics on display included 1-on-1 boss fights, parrying, and the high-speed Issen counter system.
