The Roots of Truth Abyss puzzle in Crimson Desert is one of the game's more demanding environmental challenges, stacking laser obstacles, rotating grates, and a two-part electrical panel hunt into a single run. Players who haven't squared away Kliff's Force Palm and Axiom Force skills before entering are going to have a rough time. Pearl Abyss's open-world action game, available now via the official Crimson Desert site, doesn't hold your hand here.
Getting to the puzzle in the first place
Roots of Truth isn't somewhere you can wander into early. You need to clear the Chaos Forest Abyss area first, and that itself requires solving the Spire of Insight riddles to unlock access. The path between Chaos Forest and Roots of Truth has crumbling platforms that break after a few seconds, so hesitation will send you falling.
Here's the thing: once you're past the first island, you can skip most of the crumbling platform headache entirely. Use Force Palm mid-air to gain height, then glide straight to the island with the teleporter. Before doing anything else, stand on the panel there to unlock the fast-travel point. Falling mid-puzzle means you'll want that respawn close.
The laser and grate gauntlet
The Roots of Truth area opens with a waterfall directly in your path. The passage behind it looks tempting but you can't walk through the water. The actual entry point is an opening to the right of the waterfall. Climb through, follow the path up, and you'll hit the first real obstacle: a paddle wheel with three lasers beyond it.
The cleanest solution is to fly over it entirely. Force Jump to gain height, activate Kliff's flight, and glide past the lasers to the other side. No need to time anything.
The next section is a vertical wall with three grates and lasers moving up and down. Wait for the bottom laser to begin moving upward, then grab the grate. The key here is holding L2/LT (or Q on keyboard) to make Kliff brace, then using Force Palm to spin the grate and carry him to the other side. Skip the resist input and he'll fly backward off the wall.

If you don't have enough stamina to climb up the opposite side and repeat the grate process, drop to the ground, climb the stone beside the metal wall, and use Force Palm jumps to reach the top instead.
Axiom Force panel placement
The two-part electrical panel puzzle
Past the grate section sits the puzzle's most involved segment: an active electrical panel, three more flippable grates, and a cage-like fixture hanging from the ceiling. The instinct to push the panel through the grates won't work. The cage's only open side faces the two flippable grates, so you need to use Axiom Force to float the panel into that slot from the correct angle, then flip yourself through the grates to continue.
Cross the platforms up top and look to the right. There's a section of floor with holes in it, and the second charged panel is sitting below in a small rectangular space in the wall. You can either carefully glide down or cling to the wall and climb. Once down, use Axiom Force to pull the panel out and raise it as high as possible. It will float in place when released.
Climb back up, retrieve the panel, and carry it to the empty slot spotted earlier. Force Palm it into the slot to activate the second wheel and light up the final circular panel. What most players miss is that you don't need to climb all the way to that final panel manually: follow the large roots to the top of the island and glide down to it. Hold resist and Force Palm the center to unlock the altar and skybridge, then head up to claim your artifact.

Completing Roots of Truth opens the path to the Precipice of Truth Abyss puzzle, which players should know going in is a step up in difficulty. If the Axiom Force mechanics here felt fiddly (and the electrical panel section genuinely is), Precipice of Truth will demand even tighter execution.
