Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, and Piglet are locked inside a magical DLC world called Honeyglow Woods in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and getting all three of them into your village takes more work than a standard character recruit. The process is linear, meaning you cannot skip ahead or unlock them out of order. Pooh comes first, Eeyore second, and Piglet last. Here is everything you need to do from the moment you purchase the pack to the moment all three friends are home.
What do you need before entering Honeyglow Woods?
Before any quests begin, you need the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack. This is paid DLC and the only way to access the three characters. The pack costs $16.99 and includes the Honeyglow Woods content plus 2,000 Moonstones. If you do not already own the base game, a bundle that includes the base game and 10,000 Moonstones is available for $49.99.
Once the pack is installed, head to any mailbox near your homes across the valley or DLC worlds. You will find a letter titled "A VERY IMPORTANT PARCEL!!!" inside. Attached to it is a special Tree Sprout.
Do not plant the Tree Sprout like a crop. Place it as a furniture item instead. A cutscene plays, the tree grows on its own, and a large magical tree portal appears. Walk through it to arrive in Honeyglow Woods.

How to unlock Winnie the Pooh
You land in Drowsybloom Acres when you first enter Honeyglow Woods. This is where Pooh lives, and the first four story quests all take place here. Completing them in order is the only path to recruiting him.
Quest order for Winnie the Pooh
- Prologue: Childhood Treasures
- Chapter 1: All You Need is Honey
- Chapter 2: About Thought, Fog, and Light
- Chapter 3: A Very Satisfied Bear
Across these four missions you will learn the Beekeeping mechanic and work to clear the fog that has settled over Drowsybloom Acres. The end of Chapter 3 is when Pooh officially joins your village.
Here is where Pooh's recruitment differs from most other characters: you never return to Dreamlight Valley to build his house from scratch. Instead, his house gets repaired progressively during the four quests themselves. Once Chapter 3 wraps up, the house is done and Pooh moves in.
After Pooh joins, his friendship quests unlock alongside further story missions. Those additional story quests are what eventually open the path to Eeyore and Piglet.
How to unlock Eeyore
Once Pooh is settled, Eeyore's storyline begins. His recruitment runs through three missions:
- Interlude: The Misplaced Honey
- Chapter 4: A Tail Tale
- Chapter 5: The Big Red Monster
Unlike Pooh, Eeyore requires you to build his house at the conclusion of his story arc rather than repair one. Finish all three missions and complete the build to add Eeyore to your village.

How to unlock Piglet
Piglet is the final character in the trio. His unlock condition is the simplest to describe: build his house after completing the preceding story quests. The source material confirms this step but notes that the full details of Piglet's missions are still being documented as the content is worked through.
Do you need to do anything special after unlocking them?
All three characters come with their own friendship quest lines once they are living in your valley. Working through those quests deepens your friendship level and unlocks additional rewards. Pooh's friendship quests become available immediately after Chapter 3, and they also serve as the narrative bridge toward Eeyore and Piglet, so there is good reason to keep up with them rather than park them.
If you are building out your full roster of Pocahontas-related characters alongside this DLC content, the guide on how to unlock Meeko is worth reading since Meeko's friendship bonuses stack well with active foraging sessions you will already be doing in Honeyglow Woods.
