The Tokyo Drift Daily Challenge in Forza Horizon 6 is one of those deceptively simple tasks that turns into a 20-minute ordeal if you show up without a plan. You need to reach Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo City, then land 3 Awesome Drift or E-Drift Skills. Complete it and you walk away with a Season Point for the Autumn Season plus 5,000 Credits.
Where is Shibuya Crossing in Forza Horizon 6?
Shibuya Crossing sits right in the center of Tokyo City on the map. Zoom into that area and you'll spot the Tokyo City Food Delivery job marker. From there, look slightly east and you'll find a Speed Trap. The Crossing itself is at the corner just west of that Speed Trap.
It's not a marked destination you can simply set a waypoint to from the challenge menu, which is why players keep asking where to find Shibuya. Use those two landmarks, the Food Delivery job and the Speed Trap, as your reference points and you'll land right on it.
If you're struggling to spot the area, look for the dense grid of city streets near the center of Tokyo City. The Crossing is the large pedestrian intersection where several roads converge.

How do you earn 3 Awesome Drift or E-Drift Skills at Shibuya Crossing?
This is where the challenge actually earns its name. Getting Awesome-tier drift skills (not just regular drifts) in a tight urban intersection takes the right car and the right technique. There are two approaches that work reliably.
Method 1: Long slide on a nearby street
Build up speed on one of the straight roads feeding into the Crossing, then hit the handbrake combined with the regular brake to throw the rear out and hold a sustained slide for as long as possible. The key is duration. Short taps won't hit Awesome tier. You need a long, committed slide that keeps the skill multiplier climbing.
Method 2: Circle drift in the Crossing itself
Some players find it easier to enter the intersection and drift in a continuous circle without stopping or clipping other cars. If you can keep the circle tight and consistent, the skill score builds up quickly. The risk here is traffic, so either clear the area or pick a quieter moment.
Hitting other cars during your drift will break the skill chain and reset your progress. Traffic density at Shibuya Crossing is high, so approach with a plan rather than just flooring it into the intersection.
What cars work best for this challenge?
Car choice matters a lot here. The 1999 Dodge Viper GTA ACR Forza Edition is one confirmed option that handles the challenge well. The 1997 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec is another strong pick, with a community-shared tuning setup (Share Code 358103294) built specifically for drift challenges like this one.
The Skyline setup carries the following performance stats:
The high Launch and Acceleration figures are what make this tune effective for drifting. You can build wheelspin quickly, which translates directly into sustained slides.

You don't have to use either of those specific cars. Any rear-wheel-drive vehicle with decent power and either drift tires or a drift-focused tune can work. The Share Code route just removes the guesswork if you don't want to tune manually.
How does this challenge connect to the Autumn Season?
The Tokyo Drift Daily Challenge is part of the broader Autumn Season content in Forza Horizon 6's Welcome to Japan playlist. Each Season Point you earn brings you closer to the playlist's car rewards. For a full breakdown of every challenge and reward tied to the Autumn Season, the Welcome to Japan challenges and rewards guide covers all the requirements in one place.
The Autumn Season also includes several other location-based tasks across Tokyo and the wider Japan map. If you're working through all of them, the Forza Horizon 6 guide collection has dedicated pages for each challenge type, including barn finds and treasure car hunts.
The Tokyo Drift Daily Challenge ends June 10, so there's a limited window to grab this Season Point. Daily challenges rotate, so don't assume it will be available after that date.
For players also chasing the photo-based Autumn challenges, the Tokyo Tower photo challenge guide covers the exact location and what you need to do to earn the associated reward. Both challenges are worth completing in the same session since the locations aren't far apart on the Tokyo City map.
