Tokyo Tower is one of those landmarks that looks unmissable on a real map but somehow manages to hide in plain sight when you're tearing through Forza Horizon 6's version of Japan. The Autumn season of the Welcome to Japan playlist brought a photo challenge that sends you straight to its base, and if you haven't been to this part of Tokyo yet, the fog of war makes pinpointing it genuinely annoying. Here's exactly where to go and how to knock out the challenge in one quick stop.
Where is Tokyo Tower in Forza Horizon 6?
Tokyo Tower sits on the western side of the city of Tokyo in Forza Horizon 6. The clearest reference point nearby is the Delivery Driver missions cluster, which appears on the map in the same general area. If you've already unlocked fast travel to that part of the city, you can drop in almost directly on top of the tower.
When fast travelling, hover your cursor precisely over the Tokyo Tower icon on the map before confirming. Landing even a block away puts you on a busy road with no obvious sight line to the tower. Once you're on the ground, take a sharp right turn from the fast travel drop point and the tower comes into view immediately.
First-time visitors to this area automatically earn Discover Japan points just for passing through, so the trip pays double dividends if you haven't explored western Tokyo yet.

How to complete the Autumn photo challenge
The photo challenge requirement is specific: you need to take the photo beneath Tokyo Tower, not just with it visible somewhere in the frame. Parking at a distance with the tower in the background won't register as a completed objective.
Drive right up to the base and stop your car underneath the structure. Pull up the photo mode, frame your shot, and snap it. The objective screen on the far-right column will display a tick once the positioning requirement is satisfied, so you'll know immediately whether it counted.

Challenge objective confirmation
There's a bonus worth knowing: if you photograph a car you haven't logged before, or capture another player's vehicle you haven't recorded, you'll pick up extra Explore Japan points on top of the challenge completion. Bringing a car you haven't photographed yet is a simple way to squeeze more progress out of a single stop.
What else is nearby?
Since you're already in western Tokyo, it's worth checking the surrounding area for additional activities. The Delivery Driver missions are a short distance away, and any undiscovered roads in this district count toward your Discover Japan progress.
Fast travelling to a specific icon rather than a general area saves significant time when hunting photo challenge locations. Always hover over the exact point of interest icon before confirming the fast travel destination.
The Welcome to Japan playlist packs in a lot of challenges across all of Japan's regions. If you're working through the full list, the Welcome to Japan challenges and rewards guide breaks down every event, car reward, and point requirement in one place.
Are there other hidden cars near Tokyo?
While you're exploring western Tokyo for the photo challenge, it's a good time to check whether you've picked up nearby Treasure Cars. Several of the game's free hidden vehicles are scattered across the Tokyo region, and stumbling into one while hunting the tower is entirely possible.
For a full breakdown of every free vehicle hidden across Japan's 9 regions, the complete Treasure Car locations guide covers every spot with exact positions. If you specifically want the 1991 Nissan Figaro, which is one of the Tokyo-area Treasure Cars, there's a dedicated Nissan Figaro location guide with the exact parking lot and full stats.
Drone Mode isn't just useful for spotting Tokyo Tower. Any time a challenge location feels vague, flying above the area first saves multiple laps of confused driving.
For everything else the game has to offer, the full Forza Horizon 6 guide collection has you covered across every playlist, challenge type, and hidden collectible in Japan.
