Hozy keeps its progression system deliberately simple: finish every task in your current location, place the furniture, and the next level opens up. There are 9 locations in total, starting from a dusty childhood Attic and ending at a fog-wrapped Lighthouse the game calls its "Secret Project." According to Steam achievement data, only about 28.4% of players actually reach the Lighthouse, which means a lot of people are getting stuck somewhere along the way. This guide covers every level, every tool, and every common sticking point so you are not one of them.
Hozy mein level progression kaise kaam karta hai?
Hozy uses a strictly linear unlock system. You cannot access the Penthouse until you have finished the Tree House, and you cannot skip the Dreams level to jump straight to the Lighthouse. Progress is tracked through a task book located in the top-right corner of the screen. Every checkbox in that book must be ticked before the "Exit" or "Next Level" prompt appears.
The table below maps out the full sequence, the key requirement for each unlock, and the primary tools you will need on hand.
Levels 1 and 2: Attic aur Workshop
The Attic is Hozy's tutorial. The protagonist has returned to her childhood home after city life fell flat, and you are handed four tools: a dustbin, a window wiper, a mop, and a paint roller. Hold left-click rather than clicking individual trash items to collect everything faster. Paint the walls in white, orange, or olive green, clean the windows, and unpack the furniture. That is the full checklist.
The Workshop steps things up with the introduction of the crowbar. Rotten parquet flooring needs to come up before new planks go down, and replacement planks are found outside in the garden. You will also need the garden broom to sweep flowers near the leaf bag. The outdoor element here is brief but easy to miss if you are only looking indoors.
Hold left-click to "vacuum" multiple trash items at once instead of clicking each one individually. This alone cuts cleaning time significantly on every level.
Levels 3 and 4: Dark Music Hall aur Small Apartment
The Dark Music Hall belongs to a peculiar musician and has 6 windows that all need cleaning. The mechanic that trips people up here is the window covers: you open them to clean the glass, but you need to close them again to reach and paint the wall space directly behind them. Miss even one small painted section and the task will not complete.
The Small Apartment focuses on the protagonist's sister and has a specific visual quirk: the walls are covered in mathematical illustrations. These come off with the window wiper, not the mop. The room is compact, so right-click to rotate the camera and check every floor corner is mopped before assuming you are done.

Do not exit a level before the "Level Complete" notification appears. Leaving early can cause your progress to fail to save, forcing you to redo the entire location's cleaning tasks.
Levels 5 and 6: Tree House aur Penthouse
The Tree House is the only level built almost entirely around the crowbar. There is no dustbin here; debris simply falls away once removed. The task list runs like this:
- Remove broken planks along the edges
- Tear off the dark brown roof planks
- Replace them with new red planks
The Penthouse opens in full black-and-white, and the first thing you need to do is turn off the static TV to restore color to the space. After that, the level introduces rolling out carpets. Mop the pool marble and the stairs before laying down the red carpets, or the task checklist will not register them as placed correctly.

Levels 7 and 8: Cafe aur Dreams
The Cafe was originally an old pharmacy. Before you go inside, use the garden broom to clear the entrance. Inside, wallpaper covers the large brick sections and tiles go down on the floors. This is one of the more involved levels visually, but the task book keeps everything organized.
The Dreams level is where the game gets abstract. Instead of leaves or litter, you are mopping up playing cards. The painting task here is the main sticking point: the walls look visually complete before the taskbar actually fills up. Keep rolling paint until the progress bar confirms it is done, even when the surface looks finished to the eye.
In Dreams and Tree House, you can throw items out of bounds to clear them faster than bagging them. The game registers them as removed either way.
Level 9: Lighthouse kaise unlock karein?
The Lighthouse is Hozy's final level and its most complex. It is locked behind completing all 8 preceding levels, including Dreams. Once you arrive, a new tool appears: the Dryer Gun, used to remove dampness from stone walls. The full task list for this level, according to the Hozy Wiki walkthrough, runs as follows:
- Mop dirt marks across two separate floors
- Install steel steps on the staircase
- Place black-and-white tiles on the floor and brown tiles on the walls
- Clean the high-altitude windows at the top of the structure
Place the final piece of furniture and the credits roll. At the time of writing, Steam data shows only 28.4% of players have the Lighthouse achievement, compared to 83.2% who have the Attic achievement, so completing this level puts you well ahead of the average player.

General tips for unlocking levels faster
A few habits will keep you moving through locations without unnecessary backtracking.
- Check the task book first. If you are stuck at 95% completion, open the task book and look for the one unchecked item. It is almost always a small unpainted patch behind a door or under a window.
- Center your paint tray. Place it in the middle of the room so you spend less time walking back to reload the roller.
- Camera rotation is your friend. Right-click to spin the view and check corners, especially in the Small Apartment and Music Hall.
- Replay levels freely. Once you have seen the credits, the main menu lets you return to any previous location to try different paint colors or furniture arrangements.
Hozy has exactly 9 Steam achievements, one for each level. The completion rates drop steadily from 83.2% (Attic) to 28.4% (Lighthouse), meaning each level loses roughly 5-10% of players on average.
