You start PRAGMATA with a single Repair Cartridge. That one charge will not carry you far, especially once the later sectors start throwing serious pressure your way. There are six Cartridge Holders to collect across the whole game, pushing Hugh's total to seven. Two are hidden in the world, and four come from Cabin's Stamp Club. Miss any of them and you are leaving a meaningful chunk of survivability on the table.
What does a Repair Cartridge Holder do?
Each Repair Cartridge Holder adds one slot to Hugh's total charge count. Since Repair Cartridges are your only in-combat healing option, every additional charge directly extends how long you can survive without retreating to the Shelter. Collecting all six means you finish the game with seven total charges, which makes a noticeable difference against the harder bosses, particularly the final one.
If you are short on Cabin Coins for the Stamp Club rewards, you do not need to hunt every in-level pickup. Cabin Coins can also be earned through Training Simulations back at the Shelter, which is a reliable way to farm them without replaying sectors.

Where to find all Cartridge Holders in Pragmata
Here is a full breakdown of all six holders and exactly how to reach each one.
Holder 1: Solar Power Plant, The Concourse
The first world pickup sits inside the Solar Power Plant, specifically in the third and final sector of the level called The Concourse. Your landmark here is the Main Control Lobby escape hatch. If you are returning to grab this after the fact, fast-travel directly to the Main Control Lobby.
With the escape hatch in front of you, turn left and go through the doors in that direction. Inside the room you will find the orange medical station. Interact with it to collect the first Cartridge Holder. According to both GameRant and Eurogamer's guides, this is the most straightforward of the two world pickups.

Holder 2: Mass Production Array, Business District
The second world pickup is in the Mass Production Array, in the Business District area (Block 4). Fast-travel to the Office Space escape hatch if you are returning.
Here is the route, step by step:
- Take the door directly behind the escape hatch, marked Sec 06.
- Turn right out the door, then stop before the staircase ahead and turn right again.
- Follow the trail of Lim down a significant drop to ground level.
- At the bottom, two doors face you in an alley. Enter the one on the right.
- Through that door, take the next door on the right.
- Inside the final chamber, use the personal lift on the right side of the room to reach the mid-level platform.
- At the top of the lift, turn left. The orange medical device is right there.
As noted by Eurogamer, this holder actually sits on the border between Block 3 (Side Alley) and Block 4 (Business District). The source also confirms you can exit the area after grabbing it by hacking a nearby node to stack blocks and reach the office area above, which happens to be where the main path continues anyway.
The Lim trail near the staircase is the key navigation cue here. If you spot it and follow it down, you will not get turned around in the alley below.
How to get the four Stamp Club Cartridge Holders
The remaining four holders come from Cabin's Stamp Club, accessed by interacting with Cabin in the Shelter. Each of the four main Stamp Boards contains one Cartridge Holder as a prize. A new board unlocks every time you upgrade the Shelter, which happens automatically after defeating each sector boss.

Stamp Board unlock order
Each Stamp Board has a locked section that must be cleared through a Red Zone challenge before the Cartridge Holder square becomes purchasable. Spending a Cabin Coin on the wrong square first will not unlock the holder, so complete the Red Zone requirement first.
Trainee Board: Spend three Cabin Coins to get any single Bingo (a complete vertical or diagonal row). Note that the right vertical row starts locked and requires completing the Red Zone in the Mass Production Array's Shopping District to unlock. The left or middle vertical rows work fine for Bingo without that.
Associate Board: Unlock the board's locked section by completing the Red Zone in the Eco Modeling Lab, then spend one Cabin Coin on the bottom-right corner square.
Specialist Board: Collect a Red Key and complete the Main Excavation Site Red Zone to remove the lock on the cube-shaped section in the top right. Then spend one Cabin Coin on the second space from the top on the right line.
Director Board: Complete the Regolith Lab Red Zone to unlock the top horizontal row, then spend one Cabin Coin on the square immediately to the right of the top-left corner.
The Executive Board unlocks after completing the game and the first post-game mission, but it does not contain a Cartridge Holder, according to GameRant's guide.
Each Stamp Board unlocks in sequence as you progress through the main story, so you cannot rush ahead and grab all four at once. Prioritize Cabin Coin farming between sectors so you are ready to spend as soon as each board opens.
