Anime League is pulling in players who want their anime fix with an FPS twist, rolling favorite characters and throwing them into head-to-head combat across multiple maps. The catch? You need shards to roll those characters, and right now the usual shortcut, promo codes, simply does not exist.
The developers confirmed on the official Anime League Discord server that a code system has not been built into the game yet. There are no active codes, no expired codes, and no workarounds that substitute for them. When the feature does eventually land, it will come through a patch or update, and the Discord announcements channel is where it will appear first.
What the shard grind actually looks like right now
Here's the thing: the absence of codes does not mean free shards are off the table. Every completed match drops a batch of shards automatically, so just playing the game is the most consistent way to build your roll currency. It is not glamorous, but it works.
Daily rewards and daily quests stack on top of that. Log in consistently and complete the quest objectives, and the streak-based daily reward system will eventually hand over free rolls and lucky rolls alongside the shard payouts. Those free and lucky rolls are only available through this route, so maintaining that login streak matters more than it might seem at first.
Prioritize daily quests over grinding extra matches if time is short. The quest rewards tend to deliver a better shard-per-minute return than standard match completions.
For players who want to skip the grind entirely, the in-game shop accepts Robux for direct shard purchases. That is the only paid path available right now.

Keeping tabs on when codes actually arrive
The official Anime League Discord (invite link: discord.com/invite/ALRBLX) is the only place where code drops will be announced when the system eventually goes live. Watching that announcements channel directly is the fastest way to catch them before they expire, since promo codes in Roblox games tend to have short windows.
If you want broader coverage of Roblox freebies and currency codes across other titles while waiting, our gaming guides hub tracks active codes and reward breakdowns across a wide range of games. For players looking at similar FPS-adjacent Roblox experiences that already have working code systems, games like Rivals and Hypershot are worth checking out in the meantime.
Anime League is still in an early phase of its code infrastructure, and the developer communication around it has been transparent at least. When the first codes drop, they will almost certainly come with a patch note. Keep that Discord notification on.
