Financial Commitments and Support

Under the revised proposal, Arbitrum Gaming Ventures has committed up to $1 million USD for co-investments alongside Ronin into Ronin games and projects. In addition, Succinct has pledged up to $1 million USD to cover zero-knowledge (ZK) prover costs if Ronin L2 elects to utilize the SP1 ZK prover in the future. The total package also includes 750,000 $ARB tokens to be distributed over three years and 750,000 EIGEN tokens from Eigen Labs to cover data availability costs.

Based on current market prices, the estimated total value of the proposal reaches approximately $3.25 million USD. This amount does not include potential access to ongoing Arbitrum ecosystem-wide programs, such as the Gaming Content Creator Program, the $10 million Ecosystem Audit Program, the Al Trailblazer initiative, and future in-real-life branding and marketing opportunities.

Technical Capabilities and Features

The proposal highlights the technical advantages Ronin would gain through integration with Arbitrum Orbit. Ronin L2 would benefit from a 0.1-second block time, throughput of up to 400 mgas per second, and three-second cross-chain interoperability. Additional features include support for a custom gas token, Timeboost, and Stylus, all while preserving chain governance sovereignty. These capabilities position Ronin to leverage a feature-rich technology stack without compromising its existing governance structure.

Strategic Implications for Ronin

Arbitrum’s revised proposal emphasizes both technical innovation and commercial support, presenting the network as a reliable partner for Ronin’s development and expansion. The financial and technical commitments reflect the confidence of Arbitrum and its partners in the potential success of this collaboration. By combining ecosystem access, development support, and a high-performance technology stack, Arbitrum aims to assist Ronin in its ongoing efforts to reestablish itself within Ethereum and advance broader adoption within the web3 ecosystem.
