The Sanctum of Transcendence is not the kind of place you stumble into by accident. Sitting at the far end of a multi-zone chain inside Crimson Desert's Dry Valley cluster, it is one of the game's Abyss Restoration Challenges, and getting there requires working through three preceding locations before the door even opens.
Getting to the Dry Valley cluster
The route to the Sanctum of Transcendence runs through Spire of the Sun, then Nest of Valor, then Throne of Truth, and finally Dimensional Labyrinth before the Sanctum becomes accessible. That is four zones of progression just to reach the entrance, which tells you something about where this puzzle sits in the broader Abyss content structure.
Once inside, the path opens with a set of descending platforms. You can follow them down step by step, or glide straight to the teleporter at the bottom. The game gives you the option either way.
What the bismuth walls are actually doing
Here is the thing: the Sanctum of Transcendence looks more complex than it is. The core mechanic revolves entirely around bismuth walls, which block progress until destroyed using the Focused Forced Palm ability.
On console, the input is hold L3 + R3, then hold R3. On PC, the equivalent is hold X, then hold Mouse Wheel. The target is the ball embedded at the center of each wall. Hit that, and the wall comes down.
After the teleporter, following the path forward leads to the Abyss Nexus on a rocky platform. Past that, the first bismuth wall blocks the way ahead. Destroying it opens a room with two more walls, one up to the left and one down to the right.
The power cell and the final sequence
Behind the right-side wall is a flat power cell. Picking it up and placing it in the slot on the ground to the right of the walkway activates a button that was previously inaccessible behind the left-side wall.
Pushing that button activates the Abyss. From there, picking up the artifact completes the challenge.
The whole sequence, stripped back, is: destroy three bismuth walls, place the power cell, push the button, collect the artifact. The puzzle is less about figuring out a hidden logic and more about knowing which ability to use and where to aim it.
Where this fits in the larger Abyss puzzle collection
Crimson Desert has a substantial number of Abyss Restoration Challenges spread across its world, and the Sanctum of Transcendence is one of the later entries in the Dry Valley chain. Players working toward full Abyss completion will need to clear the Nest of Valor and Throne of Truth puzzles first, since those are direct prerequisites for reaching this location.
What most players miss is that the Dimensional Labyrinth, the zone immediately before the Sanctum, is also part of the same chain. Skipping ahead is not an option here.
