NetEase's party royale game Eggy Party has now generated over $750 million in mobile player spending. That figure covers Google Play and the App Store combined and was hit on December 6, 2025. The game's revenue trajectory shows a sharp peak followed by a steady drop, though the total remains impressive for a title that launched less than four years ago.
Eggy Party first went live on mobile in China roughly three and a half years ago, then expanded globally about two years back. The $750 million figure doesn't include third-party Android stores in China, the game's official web shop, or the Nintendo Switch version, so actual earnings are higher.

China drives almost all the spending
Eggy Party launched in China in May 2022 and caught on fast. NetEase CEO William Ding reportedly took a closer interest in the project after seeing its early performance. By 2023, the game had become a major contributor to NetEase's mobile business, which accounted for 75% of the company's total revenue that year.
Player numbers kept climbing. By 2024, Eggy Party had passed 500 million registered players. That milestone came shortly after the global launch, but the money still comes overwhelmingly from one place.
China represents 66% of total downloads, with Indonesia at 19% and the Philippines at 3%. But when you look at spending, the gap widens dramatically. China accounts for 98% of lifetime mobile revenue. Malaysia and Japan each contribute less than 1%.
Revenue peaked in 2023, then fell off
Eggy Party pulled in $395.7 million in 2023 alone. That's 53% of its lifetime mobile spending, all in one year.
Since then, the numbers have dropped. Revenue fell to $183 million in 2024, then to $158.7 million in 2025. December 2025 was the weakest month in three years at $6.9 million. Compare that to April 2023, when Eggy Party hit a monthly high of $56.2 million.
The decline is real, but it's slowing down. One factor: publishers are pushing players toward web shops and direct payment channels, which don't show up in app store data. Several major publishers reported record direct sales in 2025, suggesting that some spending has shifted off the storefronts entirely.
Ads add another revenue layer
Eggy Party also runs in-game ads. Players can watch them in exchange for resources and items, giving NetEase a second income stream beyond purchases.
That means the game's actual revenue is higher than mobile spending data suggests. Add in alternative app stores, the Switch version, and the web shop, and Eggy Party remains a significant earner for NetEase, even as the mobile curve flattens out.
