Our GAM3 Awards, a significant occasion within the web3 gaming ecosystem, is poised for a grand comeback this December 2023. The event's panel of judges combines well-known personalities from 2022 with fresh representatives spanning diverse sectors of web3 gaming. Exciting new additions feature experts from web3 gaming venture capital firms, blockchain specialists, ecosystem collaborators, and content creators, alongside seasoned gaming luminaries and tech giants such as Amazon and Google.
We are proud to introduce one of our jury members Matej Lancaric. Matej has been in the games industry for ten years. He is a true mobile marketing enthusiast currently working as a UA consultant. He develops multi-channel acquisition strategies and marketing campaigns designed to drive our partners' overall growth.
He has been helping several talented developers across the globe with multi-channel user acquisition strategies, soft launch and global launch planning, and general marketing and business advisory for more than eight years. In his career, he has globally launched 40 games while spending over 42 Million EUR profitably.
1. What is the most enjoyable part of your role?
“I would say being able to speak and work with different studios all over the world. Different teams, different genres with different budgets and challenges!”
2. How do you see the progress made in web3 gaming since last year?
“I am looking forward to finally seeing some proper games going live globally in web3.”
3. What is the most valuable addition web3 brings into gaming, from your perspective, if any?
“Probably the additional layer in the LTV. Unfortunately, it brought a lot of speculation and frauds before, but now hopefully people will focus on building games first and adding web3 components on top of it. Not the other way around.”
4. What is your outlook on 2024 and beyond for web3 gaming?
“The web3 technology is not going anywhere. It's going to be used way more in games, especially in mobile games.”
