LEGO Batman: Legacy Of The Dark Knight ...

The Iceberg Lounge safe isn't going to open itself. Players hitting the "Back to the Iceberg Lounge" mission in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight are running straight into a three-digit combination lock guarding the Filthy Rich Red Brick, and the game is deliberately coy about where to find the two moveable digits. The middle number, 9, is fixed. The other two require some actual detective work in the back rooms.

How the Iceberg Lounge puzzle is set up

After crossing the dance floor and completing the "Speak to Flass" objective, the game pushes you toward a back room with a large vault. The Filthy Rich Red Brick floats visibly behind the bars, which is either a reward or a taunt depending on how long you spend staring at it before finding the clues.

The tumbler has three digits. The center slot is locked at 9. The left and right slots are adjustable, and the game hides the correct values in two separate locations that are easy to miss if you're moving at any pace.

Finding the two hidden clues

The right-column digit is sitting right in the safe room itself. There's a white LEGO brick placed face-down on the red couch. Interact with it to flip it over and it reveals the code X96, confirming that 6 goes in the right slot.

The left-column digit takes a bit more backtracking. When you first spoke to Flass, there was a gated side area in that room that was locked at the time. Once the conversation ends and the path forward opens up, that gate comes down too. Head back in and check the floor at the rear of the room. Another upside-down brick there shows the code 59X, which puts 5 in the left slot.

Put it together and the full code is 596. Input that into the tumblers and the vault opens.

What the Filthy Rich Red Brick actually does

Red Bricks in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight are purely cosmetic, which is worth knowing before you spend time hunting them down. Each one unlocks a new color scheme applied across all suits and vehicles. The Filthy Rich variant specifically gives everything a green base with dark green accents, which fits the Iceberg Lounge setting about as well as anything could.

There are 18 Red Bricks total across the game. Twelve are found inside story missions, and six more are sold through Bat-Mite's shop in the Batcave, ranging from 15,000 to 50,000 Studs each. The Iceberg Lounge brick is one of the earlier ones you'll encounter, sitting inside the Carmine Falcone arc missions.

Why this particular puzzle trips people up

The two-clue structure is the real sticking point. Most players flip the couch brick, get the right-column digit, and then either guess the left column or assume the couch brick was the only clue. The Flass side room isn't flagged after the conversation ends, so it's easy to walk past it entirely while following the objective marker toward the next section.

Here's the thing: LEGO games have always used this kind of environmental storytelling for their secrets, but Legacy of the Dark Knight is leaning into it harder than previous entries. The puzzles aren't just "find the thing and press the button." Several of them, including this one, require you to revisit areas after a trigger event, which is a design choice that rewards exploration but punishes players who move linearly.

For players going for full completion, the main campaign takes around 15 hours, but hitting 100% pushes well past 50 hours. Tracking down all 18 Red Bricks is a meaningful chunk of that extra time. The full LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight guide collection covers every brick location across all missions if you're working through the whole checklist.
