LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight ...

The Infiltration mission is where LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight first opens the door to proper collectible hunting, and it does not ease you in gently. Six collectibles are spread across the League of Shadows fortress, tucked behind puzzles, hidden chambers, and easy-to-miss ledges. Miss one on your first run and you will be replaying the whole mission.

Here is the full breakdown of every collectible in the Infiltration chapter, what it is, and exactly where to find it.

Why the Infiltration mission is the collectible wake-up call

Up until Infiltration, the game keeps collectibles largely off the table. This chapter is the first time Trophy Pieces and Red Bricks appear in the wild, and the game does not announce that with any fanfare. You can absolutely blast through the stealth sections, take down Ra's al Ghul, and roll credits on the chapter without ever knowing you left five collectibles behind.

The key here is that all five Bonsai Trophy Pieces feed into a single decoration for the Batcave once you have collected them all. That makes this one of the more satisfying collectible sets in the game, since there is a tangible payoff waiting at the end.

Every Bonsai Trophy Piece location

All five Trophy Pieces in this mission are part of the Bonsai set. Here is where each one sits:

  1. Bonsai Trophy Piece 1 - Found in the first large interior room after the bathhouse. Use shurikens on both chandelier ropes. The left rope drops a chandelier onto a bonsai tree in the previous room, destroying it and revealing the first piece.
  2. Bonsai Trophy Piece 2 - In the interior dojo, drop into the lower quadrant on the left side. A single guard patrols around a string of gold Studs that leads directly to this piece.
  3. Bonsai Trophy Piece 3 - After clearing the throne room and building the winch cable to reach the upper floor, walk along the walkway paths on either side before advancing. One path leads to a trail of golden Studs and this piece.
  4. Bonsai Trophy Piece 4 - In the courtyard section, as soon as you drop down from the crawlspace, turn around immediately and look back at the door you just came through. The piece is right there, easy to walk past.
  5. Bonsai Trophy Piece 5 - In the cave escape sequence after the Ra's al Ghul boss fight. Before jumping across to engage the group of ninjas, hang left in the large cave. A trail of golden Studs leads straight to the final piece.

The Ninja Red Brick and how to unlock it

The single Red Brick in this mission requires solving a hidden chamber puzzle, and it is easy to walk past the entrance entirely.

While shimmying along the outer walls of the temple during the Follow the Mountain Path section, keep heading right past the window where you pull down a ninja. Drop to a lower rung and follow the trail of golden Studs to a small landing with a crawlspace entrance.

Inside, you will find two large ninja statues holding torches and four pressure plates on the floor. The puzzle: you only have two characters, but need all four plates held down simultaneously. The solution is to pick up the stacks of books in the room and place them on two of the plates, then stand Bruce and Talia on the remaining two. All four plates active at once unlocks the Ninja Red Brick.

What does the Ninja Red Brick actually do? In LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, Red Bricks function as costume colorways rather than traditional cheats. The Ninja brick applies a gray and green color palette to the relevant outfit. Worth noting: these colorways only activate once you have taken on the mantle of the Bat. They do not apply to Bruce Wayne or Talia's temporary training outfits.

What this means for completionists

Collecting all five Bonsai Trophy Pieces is the kind of side objective that rewards players who slow down and explore rather than pushing the critical path. The golden Stud trails are the game's way of nudging you toward most of them, but pieces 4 and 5 require a deliberate detour or a quick turn at exactly the right moment.

For players going for full completion, the trophy and achievement list has more detail on how collectibles like these feed into the broader unlock structure. And if you are wondering how long it takes to find everything the game has to offer, the full completion time breakdown is worth checking before you commit to a 100% run.
