Maono has announced the launch of the Maono G3 Audio Mixer, a desktop audio mixer designed for Windows PC streamers. The new device combines software-based audio routing through Maono Arena with physical controls intended to give streamers faster access to commonly adjusted audio sources.

The Maono G3 is designed for streaming setups that manage several audio sources at once, including gameplay, OBS, Discord, music, browser audio, alerts, and microphone input. Maono Arena handles compatible Windows audio sources and routing, while the mixer provides physical controls for adjusting priority sources without requiring streamers to switch between software windows.

The Maono G3 Audio Mixer is available in Black and White with an MSRP of $99.99 through Amazon US and the Maono website.

Maono G3 Features Four Physical Faders

The G3 includes four dedicated physical faders that can be assigned to audio sources such as a microphone, game audio, Discord, and music. This allows streamers to make quick volume adjustments during live broadcasts.

The mixer also includes dedicated mute and direct-monitoring controls. These provide additional hardware access to frequently used audio functions, allowing streamers to change levels or mute sources without navigating through software.

At the software level, Maono Arena is used to organise and route compatible Windows PC audio sources. Supported sources include microphones, game audio, Discord, music, browser audio, Spotify, and alerts.

The combination of Maono Arena and the G3's physical controls is intended to provide software flexibility while retaining the immediate controls associated with a traditional desktop mixer.

Three Independent Submixes

One of the G3's main features is its support for three independent submixes. These can be configured for different listening groups, including the streamer, teammates, and the audience.

This setup allows different audio balances to be created depending on who needs to hear each source. One-click submix switching provides a way to move between these perspectives during a stream.

The feature is particularly suited to multiplayer and collaborative broadcasts where the streamer, teammates, and viewers may require different audio mixes.

Dual-PC Streaming Support

The Maono G3 also supports more advanced streaming configurations through dual USB-C / OTG connectivity.

The connectivity allows audio to be routed between a gaming PC and a dedicated streaming PC. This can help separate gaming, streaming, monitoring, team communication, and audience audio in dual-PC setups.

For single-PC users, the G3 can instead be used alongside applications such as OBS and Discord while managing other sources through Maono Arena.

XLR Microphone Input and AI Noise Reduction

The G3 includes one XLR microphone input, with up to 57dB of microphone gain and 48V phantom power for compatible microphones.

The mixer also features AI Noise Reduction, which is designed to reduce common background sounds such as keyboard noise, fans, and air conditioning. This gives streamers another option for managing unwanted background audio without relying entirely on external software.

The G3 supports 48 kHz / 24-bit USB audio resolution.

Four Programmable Soundpads

Four customisable soundpads are included on the Maono G3. The pads can be configured for quick access to music beds, longer audio clips, and recurring sound effects.

This provides streamers with physical controls for frequently used audio during broadcasts, reducing the need to access individual clips through separate software interfaces.

Maono Arena Software

Maono Arena serves as the software component of the G3's audio management system. The Windows PC application allows compatible audio sources to be organised and routed according to the streamer's setup.

Maono has also stated that Maono Arena will receive an updated interface in a future release. According to the company, the G3's core functionality and primary workflows will remain unchanged following the interface update.

The software is currently designed for Windows PC workflows.
