PS4 players won't get the Remastered version of Horizon Zero Dawn. Instead, they receive the Complete Edition download, which includes all the original DLC.
Why Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is the one to watch
This is the standout addition of the month. Guerrilla Games rebuilt Aloy's debut with over 10 hours of re-recorded conversation motion capture and a sweeping set of graphical upgrades, bringing the original up to the visual standard of Horizon Forbidden West. Digital Foundry concluded on release that "yes, the upgrades are worthwhile," so if you never played the remaster when it launched, this is a solid opportunity.
The key here is that this is a full-fat remaster, not a resolution bump and a new title screen.
Squirrel with a Gun is exactly what it sounds like
You already know if this one is for you. A squirrel. With a gun. The Steam page currently sits at a "Very Positive" review average, with players consistently praising the absurd humor. It's a PS5 exclusive on the service this month, so PS4 holdouts miss out on this particular rodent.
The Casting of Frank Stone and the Dead by Daylight connection
Supermassive Games and Behaviour Interactive teamed up on this one, an interactive horror game set in the Dead by Daylight universe. Reception was mixed at launch in 2024, with some critics calling it an "insubstantial origin story" that still managed a handful of genuinely tense moments. If you're a Dead by Daylight fan curious about the lore, it's worth a few hours. If you're expecting a full Supermassive horror experience on par with Until Dawn, temper expectations.
The Premium bonus: Wild Arms 4
Premium subscribers get access to Wild Arms 4, the PS2-era JRPG from Media Vision. It's a niche pick, but the Wild Arms series has a dedicated fanbase, and getting a classic PS2 title through the Premium classics library is exactly the kind of thing that justifies the tier upgrade for retro-minded players.
