"I hope that by exploring songs from different eras, you'll find some new favorites," Jun Senoue said when Sega dropped the playlist. "Also, this playlist isn't finished yet. I plan to add more songs from time to time."

The playlist clocks in at 100 tracks and roughly 5 hours and 30 minutes of music. It lives on the official Sega Sound Team artist page and is available on both Spotify and Apple Music right now. Sega describes it as an official collection featuring songs Senoue contributed to as a composer, arranger, and guitarist.
The range here is real. Yes, the bulk of the playlist pulls from Sonic games, but there are also tracks from Daytona USA Circuit Edition, Sega Rally 2, Victory Goal, and Puyo Puyo. Senoue has been at Sega since 1993, starting on Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and the playlist reflects that full arc rather than just the fan-favorite highlights.
