Yodo1 Launches Platform for In-Game IP Collaborations

Yodo1 Games has launched a new platform called IPVerse, aimed at helping developers make data-driven decisions when forming in-game IP collaborations. The platform collects and analyzes global and regional information to reduce reliance on intuition and fragmented data.

In-game collaborations have grown by 280% since 2020, creating more opportunities for live service titles but also increasing the risk of poorly matched partnerships. According to Yodo1, ineffective IP collaborations can hinder player growth and long-term retention, making informed decision-making more important than ever.

How IPVerse Works

IPVerse consolidates live and historical data from more than 80,000 in-game events, 20,000 brands, and 15,000 games. The platform covers mobile, console, and PC markets, providing developers with both global trends and region-specific insights, including a focus on the Chinese gaming market.

The platform also offers tools to identify high-performing IPs and detect emerging brand opportunities. Developers can compare market and social data, while AI-driven recommendations help tailor potential collaborations to the specific needs of each game.

A Shift Towards Data-Driven Collaboration

Eliyar Eziz, product lead at Yodo1 Games, said that IPVerse is designed to streamline what has traditionally been a fragmented process. “Studios prioritize player retention, making strategic IP partnerships crucial for growth. Traditionally, decisions have depended on intuition and scattered data, leading to costly mistakes,” Eziz explained. “IPVerse provides a comprehensive view of global trends and specialised regional insights, enabling developers to identify ideal partnerships confidently.”

The platform is available to try for free, allowing studios to explore its data tools and recommendations without initial investment.

Looking Ahead for IP Collaborations

As the games industry continues to expand, data-driven solutions like IPVerse may play a larger role in how developers approach in-game collaborations. With growing interest in web3 and cross-platform integration, having clear metrics and analytics is increasingly valuable for studios seeking sustainable growth and player engagement.
