De Bubbly Basin DLC voor Pokémon Pokopia is de grootste content-update die de game tot nu toe heeft gekregen. Hoeveel habitats zitten er in Bubbly Basin?
Er zijn precies 36 nieuwe habitats geïntroduceerd met de Bubbly Basin-uitbreiding, en die ontgrendelen in totaal 50 nieuwe Pokémon-spawns. Gecombineerd met de basisgame en alle voorgaande events, brengt dit het totaal aantal habitats in Pokopia op 250. Er zijn al meer habitats bevestigd voor toekomstige waves, dus dat aantal zal blijven stijgen.
Sommige van deze habitats zijn simpel; een paar Seabed Tall Grass of Seabed Flowers en je bent klaar. Andere vereisen specifieke decoratieve items zoals de Decorative Dive Ball, Decorative Net Ball, of een Gyarados Fountain die je moet opsporen of craften. Welke habitats zijn het lastigst om te bouwen?
De meeste vroege habitats in Bubbly Basin zijn goed te doen; ze vereisen alleen natuurlijke items zoals Seabed Tall Grass of Sea Moss die je direct in het gebied kunt verzamelen. De moeilijkheidsgraad stijgt aanzienlijk zodra je met decoratieve items aan de slag moet.
Mermaid's Gym (habitat 036) is het duidelijkste voorbeeld. Het heeft 6 Pedestals nodig plus vier specifieke decoratieve Pokéballs: de Decorative Great Ball, Decorative Heal Ball, Decorative Dive Ball en Decorative Net Ball. Dit zijn geen items die je zomaar tegenkomt, dus plan vooruit en gebruik de 3D-printer in het Pokémon Center als je vastloopt. De beloning is Starmie, wat de moeite zeker waard is.
Chimney Rocks Dig Site (habitat 015) is er nog een die spelers kan verrassen, omdat je naast de Chimney Rocks ook een Wheelbarrow, Excavation Tools en een Traffic Cone nodig hebt. Het spawnt zowel Croconaw als Sharpedo, dus het is de moeite waard om prioriteit te geven als je een van die twee wilt hebben.

Tips om Bubbly Basin-habitats efficiënt te bouwen
36 habitats achter elkaar bouwen zonder plan is de beste manier om op het verkeerde moment zonder belangrijke items te komen zitten. Een paar dingen die handig zijn om te weten voordat je begint:
- Seabed Tall Grass is het meest gebruikte item in de set. Habitats 001, 002 en 008 hebben het allemaal nodig, dus verzamel er vroegtijdig extra van.
- Lush Seaweed komt voor in zowel habitat 005 als 006. Als je seaweed aan het farmen bent, pak dan genoeg voor beide habitats tegelijk.
- Bottled Ship komt voor in habitats 017, 021 en 032. Het is een van de specifiekere items, dus er drie vroegtijdig bemachtigen scheelt weer heen en weer reizen.
- Lampion is nodig voor habitats 014, 019 en 027. Dezelfde logica is hier van toepassing.
- De 3D-printer in het Pokémon Center is je back-up voor alles wat decoratief is, maar het vereist een fotoreferentie uit de game van een andere speler of een cloud island. Connect vroegtijdig met andere spelers als je voor een volledige clear gaat.

Welke Pokémon kun je krijgen in Bubbly Basin?
In de 36 habitats worden 50 Pokémon beschikbaar in Bubbly Basin. De bevestigde spawns uit de habitatlijst zijn onder andere Totodile, Mudkip, Buizel, Shellder, Corsola, Staryu, Stunfisk, Popplio, Luvdisc, Mareanie, Carvanha, Horsea, Seadra, Corphish, Crawdaunt, Finneon, Veluza, Bruxish, Croconaw, Sharpedo, Wimpod, Golisopod, Barboach, Floatzel, Frillish, Chinchou, Dreadnaw, Marshtomp, Malamar, Brionne, Wugtrio en Starmie.
