Epic Games Store ne apni reputation exclusive Fortnite rewards ki wajah se banayi hai, lekin filhal baat is par ho rahi hai ke players in ke liye kitni qeemat ada kar rahe hain. Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 se pehle V-Bucks pack ki values kam hone ki wajah se, community ne barson mein apna sab se numaya protest shuru kar diya hai.
Boycott ki shakal
Company ne confirm kiya hai ke zyada tar V-Bucks pack ki qeematein checkout par wahi rahengi, lekin har purchase par milne wali currency kam ho jayegi. Yeh naam ke ilawa har lihaz se qeemat mein izafa hai, aur players ne foran is baat ko pakar liya.
Reddit user Awesomedogman3 ne "You cut our V-Bucks? We cut your funding" ke unwan se ek petition shuru ki, jisme players se appeal ki gayi ke jab tak yeh tabdeeli wapas nahi li jati, tab tak in-game spending band kar di jaye. Is petition ne 1,200 se zyada signatures jama kiye, aur Reddit post ko taqreeban 3,000 upvotes mile. X (sabeqa Twitter) par, user littlemankay ne Season 2 launch day par mukammal login boycott ka mutalba kiya taake player count ko kam kiya ja sake. Us post ko 13,000 likes aur 2,400 se zyada reposts mile.
V-Bucks ki ye adjustments 19 March ko live hongi, usi din jab Chapter 7 Season 2 launch hoga, jis se players ke paas season shuru hone se pehle pressure dalne ke liye bohat kam waqt bacha hai.
Launch day pressure point kyun hai?
Season launches Fortnite ke liye revenue ke baray events hote hain. Wapas aane wale players map updates explore karne, naye weapons test karne, aur Battle Pass lene ke liye login karte hain, jisme se bohat se log pehle din hi pass ya Fortnite Crew Pack khareedte hain. Ek coordinated login boycott opening-day numbers ko mutasir kar sakta hai, halankeh asal financial leverage khareedari ko mukammal tor par rokne mein hai.
Masla yeh hai: agar har koi agle din wapas aa jaye to ek din ke login boycott ka asar mehdood hota hai. Jaisa ke Awesomedogman3 ne note kiya, zyada asar-andaaz hone wali harkat ek din ki ghair-haziri ke bajaye musalsal spending freeze hai.
Community ke liye mila-jula manzar
Har recent Fortnite announcement manfi nahi rahi. Company ne confirm kiya hai ke Save the World 19 April ko free to play ho jayega, ek aisi tabdeeli jis ka community barson se mutalba kar rahi thi. Jo players Save the World community goal event ke liye register karenge aur participation ko ek million registered users tak pohanchane mein madad karenge, woh Snowstrike hero ko muft unlock kar sakenge.
Yahan timing ajeeb hai. Save the World ko free karna aur sath hi V-Bucks ki value kam karna ek mutazaad paigham deta hai. Goodwill gestures aur pricing friction ek dusre ko khatam nahi karte, aur V-Bucks tabdeeliyon par community ka reaction dikhata hai ke players tawajjo de rahe hain.
Background
Fortnite apne tamam bunyadi modes mein free-to-play model par chalta hai, jisme aanewali tabdeeli se pehle sirf Save the World mustasna tha. V-Bucks game ki premium currency ke tor par kaam karte hain, jo cosmetics, Battle Passes, aur Fortnite Crew subscription khareedne ke liye istemal hote hain. Kyunke currency direct item purchase ke bajaye fixed bundles mein bechi jati hai, is liye per-pack yield ko kam karna shrinkflation ki ek qisam hai jo listed price badlaye baghair har cosmetic aur pass ki khareedari ko mutasir karti hai.
Company ne is tehreer ke waqt tak boycott petitions par koi public jawab nahi diya hai.
