The clearance level system is back in CONTROL Resonant, and Clearance Level 6 is the one most players end up hunting for mid-game. Unlike some keycards that land in your inventory automatically, this one is tied to a side story that's easy to walk past if you're pushing straight through the main missions. Two locked offices in the Central Executive sector stay sealed until you track it down, and one of them holds rare crafting resources worth having.
When does Clearance Level 6 become available?
The keycard doesn't appear until Act 3. At the start of that act, Dylan receives a quest called Zoe's Briefing, which opens a side story called New Growth. This investigation follows Dylan as he traces a missing researcher, Dr. Underhill, and her work involving the Mold. The whole side story is optional content, but the keycard is sitting right at the beginning of it.
tip
You don't need to complete New Growth to get the keycard. Just start the side story and finish its first objective.
How to get the Clearance Level 6 keycard
Once New Growth is active, its opening objective sends Dylan to the FBC Base in The Park zone. Head there and look for the table holding Dr. Underhill's investigation materials. The Clearance Level 6 keycard is sitting on that same table. Pick it up and Dylan permanently gains Level 6 access across the entire Oldest House.
Here's how you get it:
Reach Act 3 and accept Zoe's Briefing
Start the New Growth side story
Follow the first objective to the FBC Base in The Park
Search the table with Dr. Underhill's files
Pick up the keycard
warning
If you skip Zoe's Briefing and push through the main story without starting New Growth, you can miss the keycard entirely. Check your side quests as soon as Act 3 begins.
Control Resonant Guide: How to Get Clearance Level 6 Keycard
Where does Clearance Level 6 actually work?
The keycard opens two offices on the upper floor of the Central Executive sector in the Oldest House. Here's what each one contains:
Office
Required
Contents
Dr. Underhill's office
Yes, for New Growth
Investigation files, story progression
Second Level 6 office
No (optional)
Lore files, container with rare resources
Dr. Underhill's office is a mandatory stop if you want to advance the New Growth investigation. The second office is worth opening regardless, since the container inside drops rare resources used for crafting and upgrading.
Can you miss the Clearance Level 6 keycard?
Yes. Players focused on the main story can reach late-game without ever triggering Zoe's Briefing or stepping into The Park's FBC Base. The good news is that the keycard doesn't disappear. Return to Act 3 content at any point, start New Growth, and the table in The Park will still have it waiting.
tip
The Clearance Level 6 keycard is not found anywhere else in the Oldest House. The FBC Base table in The Park is the only location.
