GAMES.GG Desktop App and Overwolf
This Privacy Policy also applies to the GAMES.GG desktop application, including the version powered by Overwolf Electron (the "Desktop App"). The collection and processing of personal data described in this Privacy Policy is governed by the relationship between you and GAMES.GG PLATFORM LTD, not by an agreement between you and Overwolf.
When you use the Desktop App, we may collect and process account and identity information, including your user ID, username, name, and email address; technical and usage information, including your IP address, device and application identifiers, operating system, application version, features and pages used, game-related application activity, diagnostics, crash information, and log data; and advertising and consent information, including your privacy choices, advertising identifiers, ad interactions, and whether personalized ads are enabled.
We use this information to provide, operate, secure, support, and improve the Desktop App; authenticate users; prevent fraud and abuse; analyze application usage and performance; deliver and measure advertising; personalize advertising where permitted; generate audience insights; support product development; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
The Desktop App uses Overwolf Electron. We may share with Overwolf information required to operate this integration, including email addresses, advertising-related information, consent and privacy signals, and single sign-on information where a sign-on integration is used.
When you are signed in, personalized ads are enabled, and this processing is permitted by your privacy choices and applicable law, the Desktop App sends your email address to Overwolf's email-hashing service. Overwolf normalizes the email address and converts it into hashed identifiers used to improve advertising relevance. GAMES.GG does not intentionally include your raw email address in application logs for this process.
GAMES.GG, Overwolf, and trusted advertising vendors may store or access information on your device and process personal data such as IP addresses, cookies, device identifiers, and advertising interactions for purposes including storing or accessing information on a device, personalized advertising and content, advertising and content measurement, audience insights, and product development.
You can review or change your advertising consent choices at any time in the Desktop App by opening Settings > Privacy > Ad privacy > Manage. The vendors involved in advertising processing are identified through the consent management interface.
