Faction Side Quests - Crimson Desert ...

The House Roberts faction quests are some of the most rewarding side content in Crimson Desert'sHernand region. Centered around helping Count Roberts dismantle the persistent Bleed Bandits threat, these 10 quests take you from clearing out cask houses to operating quarry cranes and facing a terrifying boss called the Crimson Nightmare. Completing the full chain earns you a Formal Alliance with House Roberts and a solid stack of rare materials.

What Are the House Roberts Quests in Crimson Desert?

The House Roberts faction is one of several Faction Quest categories tied to the Hernand region in Crimson Desert, developed by Pearl Abyss. Unlike some faction lines that focus on diplomacy or trade, this chain is almost entirely combat-driven. You will spend most of your time hunting down Bleed Bandits across multiple locations, with a few dialogue and construction tasks sprinkled in to break up the pace.

There are 10 quests total, divided into three sub-arcs: Estate in Dismay, Continuing Concern, and Boulder from the Sky. Each arc builds on the last, escalating from clearing out bandits near the manor to confronting a supernatural threat at Fort Perwin.

How Do You Start the House Roberts Questline?

Head to Bluemont Manor in the Hernand region. This is where Count Roberts is based, and the first quest, First Trial of Trust, kicks off here. The quest tasks you with clearing out Bleed Bandits camped near the Bluemont Cask House, which is a straightforward combat encounter designed to introduce you to the faction's tone.

Once you complete that first task and earn your initial +100 Hernandian Contribution, the rest of the chain unlocks in sequence. Most quests in the Estate in Dismay arc flow directly into one another, so you will rarely need to backtrack to find the next objective.

Tips for Completing the House Roberts Chain Efficiently

Clear Bandits in Groups

Several quests in this line ask you to wipe out Bleed Bandits across specific areas. Rather than picking off enemies one at a time, pull groups together and use area-of-effect abilities to clear camps faster. The Bluemont Cask House and Fort Perwin areas both have dense enemy clusters that respond well to this approach.

Prepare Before Fighting the Crimson Nightmare

The Crimson Nightmare is an optional boss tied to the Continuing Concern arc, but you need to defeat it to progress through Veil of the Red Smoke. Stock up on elixirs before heading to Fort Perwin. Based on available information, this fight rewards an Abyss Artifact on completion, making preparation well worth the effort.

Use the Crane Mechanic Correctly in Sealed in Stone

The Sealed in Stone quest at Karin Quarry requires you to operate a crane to shift a large cube blocking progress. This is a puzzle-style interaction rather than a combat encounter. Take your time with the crane controls before committing to a direction, as repositioning can be slow.

Track Hernandian Contribution

Your Hernandian Contribution score matters for unlocking further content in the region. The House Roberts chain contributes +400 Hernandian Contribution across its reward-bearing quests, which is a meaningful chunk toward your regional standing.
