The Dandy's World Easter Event (2026) dropped on March 20, 2026, bringing back four limited-time Toons alongside a batch of Holiday Quests and Golden Skin rewards. Three of those Toons, Cocoa, Flyte, and Eggson, each play differently enough that picking the wrong one for your playstyle will cost you runs. This guide breaks down every stat, every unlock requirement, and the fastest way to knock out each character's Holiday Quests before the event closes.

Who are the Easter Event Toons in Dandy's World?

All three Toons returned for the Easter Event rather than launching as new characters, so players who missed previous events finally get another chance. Each one fills a distinct role: Cocoa supports teammates through consumable drops, Flyte provides area-of-effect speed boosts, and Eggson accelerates machine completion. Their unlock costs scale with their power level, which makes Eggson the obvious starting point if you're working with limited Baskets.

info
Baskets are the limited-time Easter Event currency in Dandy's World. You earn +5 per Basket collected on floors, and completing machines also rewards a preset amount per run.

Cocoa: stats, ability, and how to unlock her

Cocoa is the priciest of the three at 1,500 Baskets, and she also has the steepest research gate: you must hit 100% Research on any five Twisted entities before Bassie's Shop will let you buy her. That research grind is real, so start early.

Cocoa's stats

Cocoa's Bonbon ability places a candy item on the floor that any player can pick up. Whoever grabs it gets +50% extraction speed and +25% movement speed for 10 seconds. The cooldown sits at 40 seconds. Her extraction speed of 0.85 is below average, so she leans heavily on teammates benefiting from her Bonbons rather than carrying machines herself. The Dandy's World Wiki on twisteds details each Twisted's unique threat mechanics, which matters when you're farming the five Research completions required to unlock her.

info
Drop Bonbons near machines with multiple teammates working on them. The +50% extraction speed buff stacks well with high-extraction Toons and can shave significant time off late-floor machines.

Cocoa's Holiday Quests and Golden Skin

A minor patch on March 27, 2026, added three limited-time Holiday Quests tied to the Golden Cocoa Skin:

  • Encounter Twisted Cocoa 10 times as Cocoa: Twisted Cocoa is a Rare entity, so encounters aren't guaranteed every run. Actively explore event floors to trigger spawns.
  • Complete 35 total Floors as Cocoa: This one completes itself naturally while grinding the other two quests.
  • Use Cocoa's ability to place 40 Bonbons picked up by other Toons: The key word is picked up. Dropping Bonbons in open areas where no one is around won't count. Place them at active machines or near escape routes.

Flyte: stats, ability, and how to unlock him

Flyte costs 700 Baskets and requires 50% Research on Twisted Flyte specifically, not just any five Twisteds like Cocoa. Twisted Flyte is an Uncommon entity, so hitting that 50% threshold is manageable within a few event runs.

Flyte's stats

Loading table...

Flyte's Gust ability places a zone at his current location for 10 seconds. Any Toon that walks through it gets +15% movement speed for 5 seconds. Cooldown is 50 seconds. His extraction speed of 1.20 is genuinely strong, meaning he pulls double duty as both a support and a capable machine runner. The smaller Skill Check Size (100 vs. Cocoa's 150) makes his checks harder to hit, so be ready for that.

Flyte's Holiday Quests and Golden Skin

Three Holiday Quests unlock the Golden Flyte Skin:

  • Encounter Twisted Flyte 10 times as Flyte: Grab Twisted Flyte's attention directly to count encounters. Since he's Uncommon, he spawns on both Easter and regular floors.
  • Complete Floor 20 as Flyte: Bring friends. Floor 20 is a significant push solo, and coordinated teams make it far more consistent.
  • Use Flyte's ability to support other Toons 50 times: Gust triggers for every Toon that walks through it, so positioning near busy corridors or machine clusters maximizes support count per cast.
warning
Flyte's Gust only lasts 10 seconds at his placement location. If you drop it in an empty hallway, it's wasted. Always place it where teammates are actively moving.

Flyte's Mastery Quests

Beyond the Holiday Quests, Flyte has a full Mastery Quest track that rewards the Vintage Flute Skin on completion. The requirements are:

  • Use Active Ability 85 times
  • Reach Floor 12
  • Survive 5 Floors with Flutter Render in your round
  • Finish 60 Machines
  • Survive 45 Floors
  • Travel 90,000 Meters

Eggson: stats, ability, and how to unlock him

Eggson is the cheapest of the three at just 300 Baskets, with no research gate at all. He's the first Toon most players will grab during the event, and his Fixer Upper ability is one of the more immediately useful passives in the game.

Eggson's stats

Eggson's Fixer Upper ability triggers automatically the first time he touches any machine, instantly granting 20% completion. It can only fire once per machine per player, but it works on every machine across the floor. He's slower than Cocoa and Flyte at 15/25 movement speed, but his 150 Stamina compensates somewhat, and that 20% head start on machines is a consistent advantage on every run.

info
On floors with many machines, touch each one briefly before committing to repair. You'll bank the 20% bonus on all of them, then return to finish whichever your team prioritizes.

Eggson's Holiday Quests and Golden Skin

Three Holiday Quests unlock the Golden Eggson Skin:

  • Encounter Twisted Eggson 10 times as Eggson: Twisted Eggson is Common-tier, so he spawns frequently. Encounters can accumulate across multiple runs.
  • Complete an Easter Floor 15 times as Eggson: Easter Floors appear every five floors during the event. This quest completes naturally over time.
  • Use this Toon's Ability 10 times on a machine: Solo runs are fastest here since you control which machines you interact with first.

How do these three Toons compare?

Loading table...

For solo players or newcomers, Eggson is the clear first purchase. His ability requires no coordination to work, and 300 Baskets is achievable in just a few runs. Flyte is the better pick for coordinated groups where his Gust zones can reliably support multiple teammates per cast. Cocoa takes the most investment to unlock and works best in squads that communicate, since Bonbons sitting uncollected on the floor are wasted charges.

The unofficial Dandy's World community wiki notes that failing skill checks alerts nearby Twisteds to your machine, which makes Eggson's larger Skill Check Size (150) and higher Value (2.00) a meaningful safety advantage over Flyte's smaller checks during high-pressure runs.

What's the fastest way to earn Baskets?

Baskets spawn as physical collectibles on every floor, worth +5 each on pickup. Completing machines also rewards a preset Basket amount per run. The most efficient grind combines both: collect every visible Basket during a run while pushing machine completions. Easter Floors that spawn every five floors tend to offer denser reward opportunities, so don't skip them even if the floor feels harder.
