The Piscinin Evolution is a CB-focused upgrade path in EA SPORTS FC 26 Ultimate Team that costs 50,000 coins to unlock. Across five levels, it transforms a raw centre-back card into a well-rounded defensive unit with serious pace, tackling, and passing upgrades. The entry requirements are tight enough to filter out the best cards, but loose enough that several high-quality options still qualify.

What are the Piscinin Evolution requirements?

Before picking a card, check that it fits every entry condition:

  • Position: CB only
  • Overall: Max 91
  • PlayStyles: Max 10
  • PlayStyles+: Max 3
  • Not Rarity: World Tour Silver Stars

That last restriction is worth noting if you were eyeing any World Tour Silver Stars cards sitting in your club. Everything else is fairly standard for a mid-tier evolution.

What upgrades does each level provide?

The Piscinin Evo runs five levels deep, and every single one requires the same simple task: play one match in Squad Battles on at least Semi-Pro difficulty (or Rush, Rivals, Champions, or Live Events) with the active EVO player in your lineup. There are no objectives beyond that, which makes this one of the most painless evolutions to grind.

Level 1

  • Overall: +15 (93)
  • Acceleration: +30 (90)
  • Sprint Speed: +30 (90)
  • PlayStyles+: Anticipate (3)
  • PlayStyles: Block (8)

Level 2

  • Interceptions: +20 (94)
  • Short Passing: +15 (93)
  • Stand Tackle: +20 (96)
  • Vision: +20 (88)
  • Weak Foot: +3 (4)
  • Skills: +3

Level 3

  • Heading Accuracy: +20 (90)
  • Defensive Awareness: +20 (96)
  • Reactions: +30 (93)
  • Composure: +30 (90)
  • PlayStyles+: Intercept (3)
  • PlayStyles: Bruiser (8)

Level 4

  • Ball Control: +30 (88)
  • Jumping: +20 (90)
  • Long Passing: +30 (91)
  • Slide Tackle: +20 (96)
  • PlayStyles: Aerial Fortress (8)

Level 5

  • Aggression: +20 (90)
  • Short Passing: +15 (93)
  • Stamina: +30 (95)
  • Strength: +20 (89)
  • PlayStyles: Pinged Pass (8)

The finished product ends up with 96 Stand Tackle, 96 Slide Tackle, 96 Defensive Awareness, 94 Interceptions, 90 Acceleration, and 90 Sprint Speed. That is a CB who can actually step out and press without getting burned in behind. The Pinged Pass PlayStyle at Level 5 also makes this card far more useful for playing out from the back than most CB evolutions.

What are the best players for the Piscinin Evolution?

After testing the qualifying card pool, these are the strongest options to run through this evolution:

Which card should you actually pick?

Van de Ven is the standout if pace is your priority. His Knockout Royalty version already has strong base speed, and the Level 1 Acceleration and Sprint Speed boosts push him to 90 in both, making him one of the fastest CBs you can field. Pair that with 96 Stand Tackle and the Anticipate PlayStyle+ and you have a CB who can recover from mistakes that would punish slower defenders.

For players who want a more physical, old-school CB, Sule's End of an Era card is the pick. The Bruiser PlayStyle at Level 3 and Aerial Fortress at Level 4 turn him into a wall in the box, and the 95 Stamina from Level 5 means he does not fade late in matches.

Budget-conscious players should look at Crama's TOTW card. The base stats are workable, the entry requirements are easy to meet, and the finished card holds up well in mid-tier competitive play without requiring additional evolutions.
